2.29 Sulfur

warning: language, bullying (mentioning of incest)

Even if Mahdis no longer was amongst the living, Joe still had his hands full. Taking care of a unicorn was tough business, and Ronin didn't make less of a mess of things than his mother had. Atleast he didn't randomly attack innocent sims that was dumb enough to come close. In addition it also seemed to be pretty much impossible to get Ronin used to any other rider than Joe. Which meant he still hadn't dared competing, just in case he wouldn't be able to reign the unicorn.
Ronin was far from as fast as his mum had been, so maybe for once competing wouldn't be as unfair. Maybe they should start competing?

That didn't mean Ronin was any less full of himself than Mahdis had been. He loved showing off, and did it as often as he could. Maybe he could be a showhorse of sort? Other than that Ronin was a pretty nice unicorn, and it had helped Joe a lot. To many things had happened for him to take in over himself, so his brain tended to shut down quite a bit. But as long as he knew no one was able to handle Ronin than him, it was easier to keep going. He'd love to say that having a child was enough, but as much as he hated admitting it; his little babyboy was growing up so fast. And frankly he didn't need his father as much any more.

Drawing in the scent of hay and barn from Ronins newlygroomed mane, Joe did his very best not to thing about anything that had happened. Honesetly it wasn't that big of a problem, as he remembered fine little anyway, just scattered bits and pieces here and there. But he did remember the scent from the river, Mahdis' blood and some wet dirt. Sometimes he remembered more, sometimes less, but that was normal.
Frankly Joe didn't know to much about how to get an animal used to a rider, but he thought he'd just taken Mahdis out riding here and there. Ofcourse they also trained more specialized, but they also needed a break from that from time to time. And Joe had a lot of time at his hands now.

Ronin also enjoyed the common rides they had together, and he often let the unicorn decide where it wanted to go. And since he was wearing a t- shirt and shorts, the laws of nature made sure that the sky started spitting out rain as they were in the middle of nowwhere. Good thing it wasn't that cold yet, even if summer technically was over. But it was still so typical.
Annoying enough for other sims, but when you were crazy it was easy to start thinking about other things. Like if anyone saw him, they might actually realize that he was... well... crazy. And then phone some sims in white coats to come pick him up. He'd probably loose custody over Efraim if that happened wouldn't he? He hadn't thought of that before.

With a steady trot, Ronin seemed to know exactely where he wanted to go, but something about the place tugged at the back of Joes mind: Where are you taking us? He often tried talking to the unicorn, but they didn't have the same contact of him and Mahdis. Or maybe they hadn't had any contact at all, maybe this was the normal thing and he'd just been to crazy back then? He was on new medication now after all. There were new medication for this stuff all the time it seemed.
But there was something about this place he didn't like. The rain making the ground damp and smelly didn't help either.

No.... no not that way Mah...Ronin... Was this the place? It was wasn't it? This was where Mahdis had taken him and Efraim before she died? Why was he going to this place!! That didn't make any sense! Joe tried tugging at the reigns, but whatever reasons Ronin had to come here made sure he didn't listen.

It was the place, a pretty well known spot outside of town that Joe had just never been to. It was just a place with rocks in a circle, but for now it was the place that Mahdis had died. Joe did his best not to look at the very spot, but why was Ronin taking them there? Was he trying to tell him something? In an instanse flash of ideas, Joe worried that Mahdis was coming back from the dead. As a zombie no doubt to eat them.
She had disappeared in a flash of light after all, and he couldn't remember that she actually died. Even if Efraim claimed that she had. Maybe the boy remembered it wrong? Was that why Ronin was taking them there?

Joe was so deep in panicked thoughts, that he nearly fell of when Roning stuffed his face into a plant and started muching on it. He couldn't help to laugh a bit at himself, suddenly noticing how soaked his shirt was and the cold drops that ran down his arms.
Food. Ronin had smelled something to eat and went for it. It didn't have anything to do with anything. Bet the view from this place was stunning when it wasn't clouded.

Studying some dumb little shrew that ran around on the ground, Joe couldn't help but think how lucky it was. If he had been here with Mahdis and not Ronin she would have trampled it to death in an instance. Poor dumb shrew.... Or lucky dumb shrew actually.
Meave had died instantly that day. Before he even got there. Not that it helped ofcourse. But she had been executed, pretty much because she was the only one that had been capable of dealing some damage. Or so they had thought. Turned out that Oriana had a trick up her sleeve to. It might not have helped a lot in the end, but atleast it at gotten the thugs uncertain enough to let the police get an upper hand.

Another dumb animal was cleaning it's wings- was that were Mahdis had died? Joe couldn't quite remember it. He didn't remember a lot really, but atleast the falcon let the dumb shrew be. Maybe it had hunted today already.
What was that thing i the middle called anyway? A moondial or something? It was pretty cloudy wasn't it? Like the sky above, that still was pouring. Maybe it just looked like it. Didn't Skuld have one of those things at her pink dungeon of fluffy evil kittens, or whatever the kids called it? Where had she gotten it anyway, or maybe Marco had gotten it for his little doll. That was one spoiled girl alright.
Joe started noticing how cold he was getting. It was autumn after all. And he had to admit, he didn't feel anything special at this place at all. It really was just a place.

As soon as Ronin finished eating, they headed back to the stables. He had to dry the unicorn off, before himself. He had half expected to be a shivering mess or something, but Joe didn't feel anything negative about the place. But it wasn't really the place's fault. It was still the same, the only thing that had changed was the way he saw it. And he didn't remember a lot either way. It still looked more than eerie though. Joe missed the women in his life, but for now he had to take care of Effie, and Ronin.

They'd all heard the news about Odins mum. Or more likely that dad had stopped him before anything could even happen. And even if the teenagers hated admitting it, the old man was right. As usual Odins girlfriend had dumped him, and Jarl had a crush that was never going to happen. They were pretty used to it by now, but that didn't make it any easier.
Is that dog following you...or? Jarl wasn't to fond of dogs. They peed in bushes and he was a plant sim, so it didn't take a lot to figure out that a dog might mistake him for a bush.
Don't be stupid, Biorn grinned. It's just a dog that for some reason is allowed inside this place. He swore the animals in Jericho had minds of their own, and deliberately went to places that things happened in: And I'm not a dog, I'm a werewolf.... so there. Which mad Jarl a bit worried that Biorn might pee on him when he was in werewolf shape.

Putting hand to heart, Odin said: Well, I think he is adorable. He kind of wanted a dog, but Lucky was worried about fleas and germs.
Maybe it was something in the saying "birds of a feather flock together". Everyone knew what the family had lost ofcourse. But also Marea was an orphan, and Ians dad had just vanished about the same time as dad was recovered. Him and dad had been partners, and then he was just gone. Even dad didn't know what had happened.
The only one with both parents intact was Biorn, but he was a werewolf. Which in itself shouldn't be a problem, but for some reason their parents didn't like them meeting eachother. Not that they cared ofcours, but Bashir had pretty much flipped first time he saw the teenager. And Bashir never flipped, like never. Then Joe had thrown them all out of the house, except Lucky who had to stay behind.

Ian had to lean back to try to talk to Odin over the others backs: Are you going to try again? It was so annoying when sims leaned forward, so one couldn't see the one you were talking to. As Ian was closer to Effies age, Odin and Jarl assumed he was pretty mature. Then ofcourse he didn't do stupid things like taking parents cars, or release all the frogs that were to be dissected. But they had been green, and Jarl was worried they might be related in some way. So then they had to release the frogs, and for once they hadn't gotten caught.
Holding back a while Odin eventually figured something out: I'm not sure. I don't think so. I mean, she could have met me a long time ago if she wanted. I don't know. Plucking his already shredded jeans whilst talking, he still wanted to meet his mum, but knew it was a bad idea. She didn't care about him. It didn't matter what dad said. Though deep in the back of his mind, he couldn't help the little doubt that said maybe she did care.

Uhm... Odin looked at the new dog as it sniffed Biorn. Maybe Jarl was right: Dude, you sure those dogs aren't following you?
Biorn pretended he didn't see it: Yes. I think. Just ignore it, maybe it'll go away. It stared at them for a long while, the huge dark eyes made just to make them feel bad. Odin was sure dogs did that on purpose. He tried getting everyones attention at something else than the dog. And those large, begging eyes: Did I tell you I met the vocalist in Black Winds?!
Really? Everyone reacted then, because seriously, who wasn't a fan. And it felt kind of good to get their attention over at something else. But as usual Effie had the honor of beeing a bit older: You know he's a childhood friend of our dads right? Can't you remember it?

Jarl quietly chipped in, his voice had gotten even lower than usual: Really? I kind of thought he looked like dads friend. The other boys were worried about how quiet he'd gotten. Not that they mentioned it to him ofcourse, they were boys. But they thought about it.
Yeah, it's the same guy. The same guy that had been shot when mum died, but Effie didn't mention it. He didn't like thinking about it at all.
Out if nowwhere the dog that had sniffed them jumped into Jarls lap. For a second he was sure it was going to pee on him, but it didn't! That meant he didn't smell like a bush.
See, Biorn said, I said it wasn't following me.

The dog didn't even care how he looked, or that he was gross and full of leaves. It just wanted to be cuddled! Jarl had never in his life felt so loved! Dogs weren't scary, they were nice! And it's tummy was so warm and soft, and... wow.... it was so cute. Now he wanted a dog, but Lucky was scared of germs. And he didn't want her to be scared.
I can't believe your dad knows an actor, and is best friend with a punk star.... Biorn was impressed. His dad was so lame.
Everyone looked up to Ian since he was the oldest, as he told Odin: If the vocalist of Black Winds was there, it means your mum is really famous. You get that right? That is so awesome! Odin hadn't thought about it that way, it was kind of neat. His dad actually wasn't lame, he hung with the rich and famous.
And we're rich.... Odin said. Hey, that's kind of neat! Their dad was kind of cool, old but cool. And he still had great hair. Not that he'd tell dad ofcourse, that would ruin the powerbalance.

Unfortunately for Jarl his newfound joy didn't last long. He was pretty happy Lucky came by, but why was she here? She'd never mentioned anything about that sick thing she'd done, and neither had he. He did his best forgetting about it. It still made him feel sick, and even more nervous than usual. Why was she even here? She rarely wanted to be anywhere near them. It had never crossed his mind to tell anyone, because no matter how he thought about it: he wasn't actually Marcos kid, but Skuld was. He was scared that he'd throw him out if he told, or that dad wouldn't believe him.
Lucky didn't seem to mind though: Hi Biorn... she sighed with such an obvious admiration that it wasn't even funny: Why is this place full of dogs? Not very sanitary... She wasn't to fond of dogs, they could have fleas. It was different with caged animals ofcourse she knew where they had been. And dogs ate poop. But it was nice seeing Jarl so happy for once, or atleast he had seemed happy until they entered the room. Had she done something?
Even if Skuld didn't share the same fear as Jarl, she wasn't to happy either. Why did uncle Joe, and the other adults, insist she get "some air" all the time? What was it with old sims and getting air? Couldn't they just get a ceilingfan instead?

Well, Odin said: Not to point any fingers, but there were just one dog until you two got here... Maybe they followed the alpha bitch... right Skuld? As usual his funny comments fell flat to the ground. What was the point of having a sister when she didn't even care when he teased her. Where was the fun in that? He'd always thought older sisters were supposed to act differently.
Lucky actually managed to squeeze herself between Jarl and Biorn, pretending she didn't care about the dog. And ofcourse Ian made room for Skuld, so she had to sit next to him. Not that she worthied him a gaze or anything, but he was so deeply smitten it wasn't a point trying to talk sense into him. Odin felt a bit sorry for the poor sod.

What are you talking about? Lucky smiled, caressing her hair a bit so Biorn would notice it. To no avail ofcourse. Boys were stupid...
Mum, Odin answered: I wont try to contact her again. Ever. He'd made up his mind this time, probably.
That's so sad, she responded: But I get it. Maybe when you get a bit older? He nodded: Maybe.
Marea interrupted them: as much as I'd love to stay I have to get going. It's closing in on curfew.  Her fosterparents had a curfew for her. That was so lame, poor Marea. Other than that they were pretty nice though, just really oldfashioned.
I'll drive you, Effie offered. Not just to be polite, but he didn't want to be around all the drama that just had to happen. To many sims in love with eachother for his liking. Ofcourse he knew well that was the real reason Marea wanted to leave to. That and it meant they got some alonetime together.
Don't forget you cane grampa. Odin made sure to have just one last comment for Efraim. He drove like an old man. But that also made sure he was always allowed to borrow his dads car. And after dad got a new car, he'd barely been allowed to look at it.

Nervously looking at the dog, it wasn't like Lucky didn't think it was cute. But what did they really know about it. Had someone bathed it, did they brush its teeth and did it have fleas? Jarl seemed to like it though, that was nice. He hadn't really smiled a lot lately. Not that he smiled a lot in general, only when they were fewer.
Do you want to pet him Lucky? He asked out of the blue; He's really sweet. Hesitantly looking at it, it was still cute. But probably dirty, and she could smell that dog- stink tingling in her nose. Unfortunately she never had the chance to answer before Biorn interrupted: I've got to leave. The old man'll go insane if he figures I've been with you guys.
Why did he have to leave now? Lucky had just gotten here!! This was so typical, how was she supposed to get his attention if he left every time she showed up? Boys were so stupid! She tried hauling the time: Why does our parents have such a problem with us meeting anyway?

Crossing her legs at the ankles, Skuld as usual couldn't believe sims were that stupid: It's not "our" parents, it's your parent and his. Dad and uncle Joe doesn't mind. They just make the rest of you stay away because of your dad. It was true to wasn't it? It wasn't difficult hearing her deep voice over the bad musak that drifted around the room. It was believed to make sims use more simoleons, but she really just found it annoying.
No, he doesn't! Skuld was so mean. Dad would never be the reason as to why they weren't allowed to meet. It was probably uncle Marco, he had all sorts of weird rules. Like never sleeping with the bedroomwindows open, even if the bedroom was on the second floor.
Stroking some blonde hair behind one ear, making poor Ians heart melt a bit, Skuld had to answer. Atleast when it was that obvious: Yes he does- Joe and dad just allows it out of respect for your dad.
Well, Biorn is a werewolf, so maybe they're afraid you'll infect him with fleas! Odin smiled at his blond sister, but as usual it didn't go through. What a waste of a perfectly good insult. Really, she had to start reacting soon. The only thing that made her really angry was to be called stupid, but that was just scary- angry. Not "funny- older- sister" angry. Odin wasn't dumb enough to insult her like that again.

Why is everyone getting so mad? Skuld looked at Ian for support, he was such an idiot. But atleast he always agreed with her: It's true! Bashir and Biorns dad blame eachother for what happened with aunt Oriana. So they take it out on the others kid to. Sheesh, this was so obvious wasn't it? Not that she knew what had happened, but that was mainly because she wasn't that interested: They blame eachother, since she was Biorns dads best friend, and Bashirs wife;then they take it out on their kids. Wasn't it this simple for them? They realized it was something fishy with the explanations they'd gotten right? Ofcourse it wasn't like the other had seen the same as she had at Rikards, but come on.

Wow, Lucky could actually feel the heat from Biorn thigh, that was how close she was to him! But not even that was enough to keep her from loosing it: That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. What is wrong with you? Daddy is the nicest guy ever.
Are you kidding me? Skuld almost had a bit of problem keeping up appearance. How was it that no one else noticed? How deep where they in their pointless teenager- lives anyway: He looks over his shoulder all the time, moves like he's expecting to fight someone off, and smokes like a chimney. Sigarettes aren't that tasteful unless you're stressing out. Even if she didn't like Bashir, he was a bit impressive. Dangerous, but impressive: Most likely he did some fishy business for Biorns dad. She was pretty certain of that, how else would he always seem to know when she was up to something? Only Ian looked at her with an impresses gaze, but he did that all the time either way. He was such an idiot.

Jumping up from her seat, Lucky started yelling: You're so full of it Skuld! You're a bitch!!! Then she dramatically walked away, not to quickly ofcourse she had to make sure someone had time to follow her. Not that Skuld cared that she yelled either, Lucky yelled all the time. She was such a dramaqueen.

Jarl quickly stood up, making the poor dog falling straight off his lap, the sofa creaked as his weight dissapeared from it. The dog made a small whimper, and started searching for another lap to lay on: I'll go after her....That low voice was back again.
Nah, it's okay Biorn said, I can do it.
No no, I got it. I got it. Jarl insisted. He could do it, even if he felt a bit bad for the dog. Wondered how long it would take before another one would sit on his lap?
For some reason Biorn didn't seem as upset and interrupted him again: Just sit Jarl, I'll do it, it's our parents after all, he said whilst standing up. But before he walked away, he turned to Skuld: I'm not saying you're wrong, but that doesn't mean you say things like that either way. Then he left. She didn't like him either.

That was low even for you Skuld, Odin wasn't the least bit afraid of his sister. She might be a calculative banshee, but she'd never harm anyone. She was still his sister after all: Way to ruin the mood. He stood up with Jarl: You coming Ian? They were going to grab something to eat, or he was going to grab something to eat as Jarl never was hungry.
Nah, I'll make sure Skuld gets home safely.... He gave her that dreamy look again, the poor guy. Odin rolled his eyes, like Skuld was scarier than anything that walked around this city. She just rolled her eyes back at her brother. It was so typical of him defending Lucky.

Watching them walk away, she eventually worthied Ian a gaze: I don't get it. What did I do wrong?
Those beautiful lightbrown eyes made poor Ian all weak in the knees. It sucked beeing in love with someone prettier than you, especially since she was so much younger to. Made him feel like a gross old creep. But Skuld was the hottest girl in school, even if she wasn't very popular. And young, way to young for him: I don't know. I thought what you said was very insightful. He hoped she thought he was smart. Skuld thought Ian reminded her of a dog, the way he kept looking at her, and following her around. Kind of irritating actually.

So.... Ian stopped her before she could leave: Do you want something to drink before I take you home? He was desperate to be a bit alone with her, before she left. Just a little while, please. She was so pretty, and so smart, so perfect in every way. Not that he had any thoughts behind it! He was to old for her anyway.
She sure seemed uninterested as she answered: Uhm... okay. She was a bit thirsty anyway. And Lucky had been her ride, and she had the carkeys to. So if Ian could drive her home, why not get a free drink first?

It wasn't  that Ian was a particularly bad looking guy in any way. He was pretty ordinary other than the giant nose and the lazy eyes that was. But polite, as he'd left to get her that drink. She didn't even have to tell him what she wanted, as he knew her favourites anyway. He was a good dog to have around. Not that it made it easier for her to find the fountain of youth. Skuld couldn't wait until she grew up, and got away from that snake Bashir. He was always there.... always. It didn't matter what she did, or where she hid. He seemed to always interrupt her whenever she had something good going! Atleast he didn't know about clerk-man; what a looser. But he still had his uses.

Oooh.... Skulds deep thoughts were interrupted by some annoying voice. Finally bothering looking up, it was some new girls from school. They were supposedly "cool, tough and edgy", as if she cared about that. Skuld was smarter, prettier and a lot richer than them anyway. Not that it helped alot, as PimpleLard just continued: If it isn't little barbie with her long blond hair, and pink shoes. Stupid girls, her shoes were purple, not pink.
The unabrow girl with the hat giggled, as PimpleLard kept talking, interesting thing that they always came in herds. But cattle usually did, didn't they: Waiting for little red riding hood with the bad skin? They laughed again. "Little red ridinghood" was a common nickname for Ian.

What do you mean "waiting for", you're here already aren't you? Skuld wouldn't usually bother answering lesser sims, but this was a bit to easy: You know, they sell sulfur soap at the drugstore. If you can afford it, that is.....
She was ugly, fat, stupid, poor and had bad skin. No wonder they were jealouse of Skuld. Even their hair was thin and greasy. Unlike her hair, that reminded of golden silk. Atleast that's what Ian said. Usually she didn't care what he said, but she liked it when he made her feel good.
PimpleLard got mad, and so did Unabrow, but PimpleLard still did the talking, she was probably the leader- cow: Bet you wouldn't be so tough if you weren't sitting down! You think you're so smart blondie, and so pretty. But you're not! You're ugly and fucking stupid!! Skuld was not stupid, she was smart. She was a genious.

Calmy Skuld got up. Why would she worry about a couple of ugly, fat girls with pimples. Still a dream of calmness, she didn't get scared easily: Shouldn't you and your friend here be at some lard- fest? Skuld smiled at them, after a quick look showing that no one heard her: Or will you be misstaken for walrus maybe...
Unabrow stuttered: I.. I'm not fat....
Yes you are, Skuld smiled at them: Not as fat as the lesbian here, but fat. Very and wholeheartedly fat.

You are both worthless- you're the reason why your parents are poor. Because you eat them out of the house. But you should be able to suck the puss out of your disgusting pimples pizzaface, for when you get to hungry. And when your dad sneaks into your room at night and fucks your backside, and the men that pay you for blowjobs after they empty themselves on your face, are the only affection you'll ever recieve..... Skulds voice hadn't raised itself a bit. But the look on those faces was priceless. She liked making sims unhappy, that made her happy: You are whores, both of you. Filthy, fat, ugly sluts that will never be worth anything.

Dad has never done anything to me.... The fat girls said
Smiling, and putting up a surprised face for a reason that came up behind them, she with a remarkably low voice said: Ofcourse he has, but you love it so much. Moaning as he shoves it up your arse, while you lick your mothers cunt....
You fucking bitch!! PimpleLard pushed her hard, making her fall on the floor. The high heels didn't help anything either. Not that she couldn't have been able to stay up straight.

Skuld cried from down on the floor: Stop, leave me alone.... please.... No one could act like her when she wanted to as she kept pressing out some sobs. Ofcourse she could have damaged both those ugly faces with no bigger problems, she jogged, swam and trained sim- fu. But they didn't need to know that. What was it with fat chicks thinking it was easy staying thin? Having a slim body took a lot of dedication!

What is happening here? A man with long silky hair walked into the room at just the right time. Skuld still whimpered down from the floor as he kept talking: What are you doing? That's it! I'm calling the police. I won't have this behaviour in my shop. He didn't want his shop turn into some strange place teenagers hung to bully eachother!
What? But she started it! Unabrow said. PimpleLard also protested: You won't believe the things she said to us!!!
Really? The man looked at both of them with a raised eyebrow: I was just behind you. This poor girl seemed all nice and sweet, then you just attacked her!

Finally Ian came back to: What happened? This was so typical him, he had just went to use the bathroom, and now.. this!! He'd forgotten her drink at the counter to, gah. He was hopeless. Maybe he was getting senile?
These girls, the owner helped Skuld up from the floor: pushed this young lady after calling her names. Putting a large hand on her arms, the owner comforted her: There there angel... It'll be okay now. I'm calling the police and they can take care of these two thugs.

Turning towards the girls he barked: What's your names!
     But she....!! they still protested.
Your names!!! Silkyhair was relentless, he demanded justice for that little angel that had been attacked. In his shop none the less. That was bad for business. And he was pretty sure he'd seen the blond girl around before, and a reappearing customer was always a good one.
Diana Summerset.... Unabrow answered quietly, and PimpleLard that had dared calling Skuld stupid said: Wilma.... Wilma Rothenmeyer....

Whilst Ian hugged her, trying to sooth her crocodiletears, Skuld made sure to remember those names.... Diana Summerset and Wilma Rothenmeyer. She'd make sure they regretted calling her stupid. Skuld was upset, to think that someone called her stupid! She was smart.... And it had a lot of perks beeing blond and slim. Like when two ugly, fat girls said something, everyone automatically believed her. This was good, this was very, very good. She clinged a bit closer to Ian, pretending that she was very upset.
Ian just thought it was typical. Some girls was just so mean to others, just because they were pretty. That was so unfair. And poor Skuld wasn't just beautiful, she was smart to! Ian was sure he could save her from all the horrors she had lived through.

Well, the owner said; you two girls will come over here with me whilst I call the police and tell them what you did! You just take your girlfriend home young man....such a sturdy young man to. They heard him muttering to himself as he pushed the two girls infront of him. Sturdy ey? Skuld studied Ian as he kept on comforting her, even if she didn't need it. The owner thought he looked trustworthy.... maybe he did, she'd never really thought about it. He was such a good and loyal dog.

It wasn't like she'd never taken the thought herself, but it just became so more real when someone else said it. And why would their parents blame eachother for that? The only one to blame was the once that killed mum! That's what uncle Joe had said. And he'd lost his wife and Mahdis.
Lucky? Biorns deep voice still made her tingle though, why did that even happen when she was upset? She hated beeing a hormonal teenager. Not wanting to look ugly infront of him, she wiped her nose and eyes, then wiping the hands on her shorts. She really hoped her eyes weren't puffy.

She didn't turn around to him either, not just because she didn't want to show that she'd been crying, but because his eyes glowed in the dark. And it kind of freaked her out sometimes, but not all the time. What the hell? Had she dragged him to a catpark!? Eew...it was probably poop everywhere. Gross.
Lucky, he sounded so sympathic as he put his hands on her shoulders, awkwardly rubbing them up and down her upperarms. She kind of wanted him to let them go further down. What was wrong with her? Couldn't she just have one emotion at a time? She was upset, so why couldn't she just be upset and not horny to: I'm sorry... Then he put his arms around her hugging her against him, she could even feel the muscles in his body. Wow, she'd never been this close to a boy before, and what a boy it was!

Without thinking it through, she turned around and leaned her head against him. He smelled so good, kind of ...warm... could someone smell warm? He did. It made her want to see how he looked without a shirt again, and to feel his warm skin against hers. Maybe he felt it too? It sure seemed like it with how the hug started feeling, and how his touch changed. Not that he did anything inappropriat unfortunately, but it still felt different. Like he wasn't stroking her hair and back to comfort, but as he was looking at her with his hands. That was a bit weird wasn't it? Lucky took the chance of stroking his hair to. It didn't feel like how she would imagine wolffur was.

She let her hand drop down his side, slowly moving it up letting it end up on his chest. She hadn't forgotten it was hairy, but she couldn't feel anything through the shirt. It was a bit fun feeling his muscles tensing, but it didn't seem like he didn't want her to.So she let her hand slide down his stomach, finding it's way under his shirt.
His stomach was hairy under the clothes, but his skin was a lot softer than she'd expected, and so warm. So very warm.

You can put your hand under my shirt if you want to.... Lucky whispered in his ear, actually hearing he stopped breathing for a second. Not an easy task with her outfit, but it's strange what one can do if you just really want to. Feeling the heat from his hands, the touch was so gentle she barely noticed it at first. He just kept carefully stroking her hip, which felt very good. She wasn't sure if touching him felt better, or him touching her. Stroking his stomach again, Lucky decided that the best feeling was touching him: You can kiss me if you want, she whispered to him. Couldn't just stand around screaming in his ear either.

Good thing he wasn't difficult to persuade. That would have been awkward.

For some reason he kept getting called down to the station several times a week after workhours. He swore his co- workers, or underlings more like it, got dumber by the minute. Honey! I'm home!! Marco called out into the building, knowing that everyone was waiting for him. Or maybe not.... But he heard familiar sounds coming from the kitchen.

Hey honey! Didn't you hear me calling? He smiled a bit longer before talking again, his voice flirty: You know how much I love coming home to a hot meal, baby? I do enjoy that you use the kitchen I bought you. It's just something about seeing you in there where you belong...

You're an idiot, you know that right? Besides, Bashir had bought everything that was in the kitchen. None of those other dumbarses even knew what was needed in one. If had been up to Marco it would just have been a butcherknife here, and a handful of cows in the garden.
Come on baby, don't be like that.... Marco swore this never got old: you know I've got a lot to do at work. So busy all the time...
Fuck you. And it's vegetarian, if you want meat make it your own damned self. Blondie was really annoying, but atleast he had a place to live with his daughter. Besides, Bashir worked to! He'd quit politics ofcourse, and taken up working at the firestation. If he was lucky, he'd burn to death sooner than later. But then there was sims that needed rescuing...He didn't even like other sims, so why did he keep on rescuing them?!
Marco would never understand how anyone couldn't eat meat. It was so sweet and tasty, and it made your muscles bigger. But Bashir was a pretty good cook, he'd give him that. The worst part what that he no longer irked the hell out of him either. Not that he'd gotten any nicer, but atleast he tried. And he'd beefed up like hell to, even if he didn't eat beef....How ironic wasn't that?

Even if he might not be the ideal father (unlike Marco ofcourse), it was no doubt that Bashir loved Lucky and tried his very best raising her. Like most healthy dads he worried to much about creepy teenaged boys drooling after her, and was worried sick about something happening to her. Much like himself with his own daughter.
Sit down, eat and shut up. Bashir still had that icecold voice that made winterstorms seem like a pleasant breeze. But as long as he brought food, no one cared.

Don't you want to hear about my day baby? Marcos days mainly consisted of highranking office work now. He'd managed to keep his job and gotten a promotion. Thanks to Milo no doubt about that. Else he'd been in jail for a very, very long time.
You're an idiot. Like real men they had never talked about anything that had happened. Just sat and ate on it in silence, pretending that everything was fine. And for fucks sake, blondie worked behind a desk. He ran into fire! Getting trapped in a burning building hadn't scared him away from it, for some reason. Probably proof of all the things that was wrong with him.
You two really just need to kiss and get it overwith! Joe jumped into the conversation.
Shut up and eat your dinner! Bashir snapped at him.

Now honey, we've talked about this. Don't talk the little one like that. Remember; listen to the young ones, or they'll turn rebellious... Marco smiled at Bashir like they were together at this.
Yeah, I'm quite the rebell.... I want an icecream.... Actually Joe wanted some icecream. He hadn't had that in ages. Marco didn't want that stuff in the house, and Bashir was even worse that way. Something about cows and ozonlayer that he didn't care about.
Shut up and eat! Really? this was supposed to be grown men. He swore it was like having two giant, spoiled children! Was this how it had been for Oriana for all that time?

I'd like to eat something alright, but sure as hell not dinner.... They started laughing at Marcos comment. Nothing says male bonding like some indirect dirty comments. And what other option did they have? Talking about feelings? Did anyone actually talk about that stuff? Probably not.
Sure miss that part... Bashir said: Can't just do that with some random lay either.
You can't? Joe said, making them laugh again.
No, Bashir answered, he probably knew more about this than Joe either way.
Actually I've always wondered why not. Joe had heard that before, but he'd never really gotten why.

Bashir leaned backwards a bit, clearing his throat: Sooner or later when you have a girlfriend, she'll figure out your a manwhore. Then next time she doesn't want to have sex, you'll try the whole; "But I love you, and want to show you" thing. And she'll say:
...Oh, so you loved all the other women you fucked to... Marco finished the sentence for him: So then you need to have that little something just for that special someone!

Joe sometimes forgot that those two were giant idiots: And you don't just lie about this because....?
They talk. Marco said. A lot! Bashir chipped in between bites: They always figure it out. Always!
The big irony in all this was that he was the one on heavy medication: Meave never said anything like that. She'd never said a lot about anything really.
      Because your not a manwhore.
Marco answered: It's just for manwhores, which most men are anyway. But your not, so Meave didn't have anything on you. You're the exception... Not that it was a problem ofcourse. Beeing a manwhore wasn't for everyone. It took a lot of work. As much as Marco hated admitting it, he was to old to be a manwhore now.

But, Bashir and Marco actually had a lot of things incommon, as Bashir said: You can't start eating out random lays either way, because if you get a girlfriend...
....she'll figure it out and get mad at you. Marco finished. This was so easy wasn't it?
Joe chewed a bit longer on his food. He got that he was the youngest one there, but come on. They actually believed that crap: Did you two impeccable geniouses ever mention this to your respective girlfriends?
Don't be stupid, Bashir answered. You can't say it. It's just one of those rules that everyone knows about.
And which of you two brilliant minds will share your wisdom with our boys? That hadn't been a part of "the talk". Why hadn't they though about that if this was something that everyone needed to know?

That made them silent for a long time. Until Marco finally answered, he had two boys after all: Doesn't school take care of those things? He'd had the talk with his sons ofcourse, wasn't a complete moron either. They were still traumatized by it, which honestly had been a bit of the point to.
Even Bashir had to admit it sounded a bit smart: Eating out for beginners? That sounds like a good idea right? Marco nodded, sounded like a great idea: We could have taken it up at the next parent meeting? For some reason the other parents had nearly passed out when they had suggested widening the specter of sex- ed. Like boys needed to learn more about condoms when they barely knew what they could do with a girl...so now they weren't allowed at school meetings anymore... stupid school meetings....Not that they wanted to be there in the fist place, but that wasn't the point.
Joe grinned evily at them, he was still allowed to be at the meetings ofcourse: You know both boys and girls get sex- ed right? Which means that the girls would learn...

MATE!!! What's wrong with you?! Marco had no idea adult Joe could be this gross. That was just wrong: That's sick. Innocent little girls didn't do that! And just gross boys suggested it! Especially after he had a daughter himself!!! No way was she learning that!! NO.WAY. One thing was traumatizing the boys with things, that was funny. But what Joe was hinting at... no. Just wrong. His little doll was going to have a baby that came with the stork anyway. SO THERE!!!
But... Joe just couldn't stop himself, it was just to funny: how else are girls supposed to learn that then? I mean, they might actually be interested in...

NO! Bashir did not like where this was going. This was so typical of men that didn't have daughters: The guy tells them how it should be like, if the girls want to... WHICH THEY DON'T!!!
You're enjoying this aren't you.... Marco said.
So much it's impossible to describe it.... You two won't be able to sleep tonight will you? It was so good beeing Joe right now. Tomorrow he was going to get some icecream.

Luckily they had to stop the conversation as they heard Ian and Skuld in the hallway. Great, now he couldn't stop thinking about that either... He wasn't blind ofcourse, he saw the smitten looks the redhead sent his daughter. Usually any teenaged boy looking at his daughter would send him into a rage, but Skuld didn't seem interested in any boys, or girls for that matter. As hard as it had been for him to admit, he would approve of Ian, he was a pretty good kid. Even if he was to old for her, but then again his little doll was pretty mature for her age.
Dominic had been a good fellow, and his son had inherited that. A way softer and more shy type, but still a good guy. He'd treat his daughter right, if she ever started showing interest in him ofcourse. But Skuld was just to busy with all that alchemy stuff he didn't understand to run after boys.

Where's Lucrecia? Bashir waited until they had entered the room. He wasn't as blind about that blonde devil, but what could he do about it? Anything he'd say would just get Marco mad, and his daughter would loose the stability she so desperately needed. Usually he'd just scare the living daylight out of anyone that crossed him, or kill them. But Skuld was so far away from just "anyone" that he actually didn't know what to do. Marco would never believe him, and Jarl wouldn't say anything.
Jarl was to scared that she'd harm someone, that Odin wouldn't believe him, and to get thrown out of the house. After all, he wasn't his son even if Marco never thought about him any differently.
Bashir got that, even if he'd never talked to the kid about it. Figured it would make it worse for him.

The most unnerving thing about the girl was how completely innocent she seemed. Not in an overdone way, but by the way she acted around him, one would think nothing had happened, that he didn't know what had happened: She got a bit upset, and walked away. Skulds deep voice reminded of her mothers more than anyone.
Ian was more than happy to help sooth the scary guy. Actually Joe was the only one he wasn't ever remotely scared of in the room at the moment: There's no need to worry mister Viho, so polite wasn't he? Biorn went after her so she'll be safe. Bashir bit his own tongue, tasting the blood in his mouth; had Ian just mentioned the Milo- spawn?

I swear Ian gets just a tad uglier every time I see him. (And I had forgotten how much older he is than Skuld, I'm creeping myself out here already. Yuk) But I love my ugly sims really. And for the two ugly girls, I just wanted to play around with the myth that seems to be quite indoctrinated with boys (atleast they were back in my days when dinosaurs roamed). That ugly girls are mean to pretty ones. Which they are in this case, but Skuld is a lot worse. That's why they are such caricatures. They aren't particularly fat or ugly when they are in normal outfits, which is kind of the point ofcourse.
And since this is how the sims holds their dogs, I'm not surprised they flock to the family to be honest. Really Charles? That is animalcruelty. He even holds the dog like that, when he's pushing his toddler in the stroller.
