5.2 Flawless

Neda was truly enjoying universitylife; making sure to grab something to eat between classes. It wasn't the healthiest choice, but the welltended campusarea was to lovely to ignore. And the best part was when she didn't have to cook. She didn't know how to cook. Maybe she should learn it soon? Grownups made their own meals, but it was so much easier to grab a bite on the go.

If it was her enthusiasm, or the pink jacket that did the trick is to be unsaid, but she was asked to keep a presentation for a class!

Her one audience thought she did a great job.

As the days were warm and inviting, it was just natural to take some classes outside. Looking at Agnete, Neda tried not to be to critical. So what if she decided to run around in a dress that her tits nearly fell out off. It wasn't like her looks was going to get her anywhere, radio and tv was all about skills. Not having your tits falling out! Yeah, there was definitely not any requirements for looks in newsreadings on tv. Atleast she could keep telling herself there weren't any.

Neda could really get used to the thought on beeing on tv or radio, but it wasn't very realistic for a while. It was mainly given to pretty young and blonde women, or ugly and old men. Atleast her outfit was without any flaws, and it was youthfriendly. As much as they liked pretending, they weren't actually having a real airing. But they were recorded, and if anyone was good enough, they'd be sent on campusradio.

She straightened her back when she noticed the large crowd of guys looking at her practice. Ofcourse they stared at her and not miss "titshangingout"; she had the skills. Besides, she was really cute. Well, no one else than her parents had ever called her cute, but they probably wouldn't lie. Would "cute" cut it for newsreadings on screen? Why was there so many guys staring at her anyway? Why not any girls?

Turned out they weren't staring at her, they were to busy staring at bitchly... Ashley, she meant Ashley. Well, she was pretty and blonde, and Neda still wasn't. She had to stop thinking about that. Even if there were requirements for looks to be on screen, she wasn't so hideous that it would stop her. And she could bleach her dark hair if it was necessary. If not, there was always writing articles for newspapers. She didn't really care that much.

When Neda took a little break, she was approached by one of the guys that hadn't been staring at Ashley. She tried to stay focused on what she was supposed to do, and on what he was saying; but look at those teeth! They looked like needles. And his skin was so gross and pasty, and full of freckles. What was his name again? Troy?

As much as she wanted to stay neutral in the face of journalism, this was something she couldn't just stand and watch: Troy, you're smoking. Even other students noticed.

Yes I know, he answered flirtily.

Nah, mate. It's really warm and sunny. You shouldn't be out in the sun. You're litterally smoking! There's smoke coming from you! She wasn't sure what was happening, but no way was that normal.

She'd barely uttered the sentce before his eyes rolled into the back of his skull, and he passed out, hitting his head on the pavement. Neda had never been this close to a vampire before, and even less one who was dumb enough to pass out in the sun. She quickly called the campus security, and hoped to save the day. After all, what was one supposed to do when a vampire passed out like that. Couldn't they turn to ashes, or maybe that was just a rumour?

As Troy was taken away, Neda made a report about the incident. Let's see stupid miss "titshangingout" top this! She bet they'd air her on the campusradio!

Quickly forgetting all about the passed out vampire, Neda invited Steve out to the pool. Why hadn't she thought about this before? This was she got to oogle his hot body without seeming like a creep! This place kept on surprising her. The pool was so clean and well tended, without stinking of chlorine or anything; everything here was so beautiful!

Neda took another handful of water and splashed on Steve. They had been flirting more than swimming, and he never got mad at her. Steves warm laughter filled her with joy and good stomachfeels. This was it. This had to be how it felt beeing in love with someone. Neda was in love!

He just seemed so fascinating, and had such beautiful eyes and was so very, very hot. She definitely deserved some credit for not staring at his wet body.

So Texas. She liked calling him that instead of Steve. Steve just seemed so simple: You're a difficult man getting a hold of.

Yeah, he excused himself: I work quite a bit. I don't have a scholarship, so simoleons is a bit hard to come by. But I manage.

Oh, yeah. That has to be rough, both working and going to school. Wow, he not just good looking and brave, but also a hard worker. He was perfect.

I mean, I don't think I could've handled it. Neda continued: And yet you see to have a lot of time going to the gym. It was probably best not to mention that she didn't have a scholarship either. Her parents had a collegefund for her, and still they sent her extra simoleons.

She wasn't sure if he was pulling an akwardface, or if he contemplated jumping into the pool to get away from her. Turned out it was neither.

You're really sweet Neda. He put a still cold hand on her shoulder, so she classily put her hand on his waistline, before casually moving it further down. She'd never been this close to a man before in her life. Maybe he noticed, because he didn't touch her anywhere else.

Do you want to... do you want to be my girlfriend?

She grinned so widely her cheeks ached. Her knees felt weak and everything; this was definitely true love:  I'd love to Texas.

Since they'd gotten this far, Neda figured they might as well go a bit further: Do you want to go back to my place? Maybe that way she could get her first kiss. She wasn't an all out idiot ofcourse, and got that it could easily be misinterpreted. But Steve didn't seem like a pushy type. The way he'd asked her to go steady kind of gave that off.

Instead she settled on giving Steve a backrub. She just didn't dare kissing him, and this seemed a pretty safe way of having some physical contact. His skin had warmed up in the sun, and uite nice to the touch. Neda had never done anything like this before. Wonder if she did it the right way? He'd seemed so different the first time they met, and now he was all cute and soft; like a little kitten. She liked kitten Steve.

Since Steve was so difficult getting a hold of, Neda ended up spending a lot of time with other friends. Troy had recovered after passing out from the sun, and she did her best not teasing him about it. Even if she did talk way to much about her amazing tan. It was all natural to, just from spending time outside. University was great! She couldn't believe all of her sibling had refused to do this!

Most of her sparetime she spent with Walter. Despite him beeing a lover of the outdoors, he rarely had a tan. Maybe he actually spent time styding, unlike her. She knew she had to work harder at school, but it was so much more fun doing other things instead. It was something about school that was so tiering, and she just wanted to live a little. It was fun beeing a grown up. She was allowed to spend her time however she wanted.

I really love summertime, Neda said when they were finished bowling; which she lost ofcourse: But it's a bit boring that Steve works so often. I really wished we could spend some more time together.

It was so nice that Walter put up with her. They were such great friends, and they had so much in common. But he was a rich guy, and she was... well, she was a rich girl. But not that rich. They didn't swim in simoleons.

And Walter came from old simoleons; the type that had both a large ammount of locked and liquid assets. He'd probably never worked a day in his life! Kind of like herself! No, wait. That wasn't what she meant. Though, spending time with him and Steve was such different experiences. Steve worked hard and long, and had for years. Walter grew up on yachts and with servant. She was kind of somewhere in the middle. Or maybe she wasn't?

I've always wondered how he manages through school, and working at the same time. Walter answered. She had been a bit surprised when she realized they already knew eachother.

I don't think I'd ever be able to manage that.

As nightfall crept in, she realized how many hours they had spent together without her noticing. When had they ended up standing so close to eachother? She kept looking into his eyes without breaking contact. They just kept drawing her in; that odd glow that signalized his supernatural status. Werewolf. Or atleast he claimed he was, but he really didn't seem the type.

He was kind of cute. Not as hot as Steve, but he had that wholesome "guy you could introduce to your parents" going. Her parents would definitely hate him. They wouldn't be happy until she came home with some bloke with eyeliner, tattoos and leatherjeans.

Trying to break that strange feeling that got a hold of her, Neda tried saying something stupid: You're really tall Walter.

Maybe you're short, he countered with ease.

Wiping a tear from her eye, Neda was bummed out that Steve rarely had time for her. It was so nice of Walter spending time with her. That had to be what her mood was about. It couldn't be about anything else. It wasn't allowed to be about anything else.

As the sun quickly set, the pavement cooled enough to sit on. They decided to end the day with gazing at the stars. Back home there was so much light, that she'd assumed stargazing beeing impossible. Yet here they were easy to spot, twinkling nicely in the sky.

She got a bit shocked when she felt Walters warm hand on top of her own. That was an odd thing to do, wasn't it? But it was just Walter, and they were friends. He was just beeing friendly, and ofcourse she didn't want to seem impolite. That off feeling she got in her stomach was just a coincidence. Maybe she was going to masspuke again?

She leaned closer to him, just to be friendly ofcourse. Because that's what friends did. He was a bit more bony type than Steve, so that meant she wasn't interested. For some reason that made sense to her. It was still perfectly natural to sit this close, and rubbing her breast agains his arm; which she didn't notice at all. Because they were firends. That's what they were, friends. And it was perfectly normal for friends to be sitting this close together.

Ofcourse they couldn't sit that close forever. They had classes and everything tomorrow, and Neda planned on showing up for atleast one of them.

Thanks for cheering me up Walter. They hugged as they parted, that was perfectly normal to. She hugged a lot of sims. And he probably lingered with his arms around all his friends. Like, who didn't do that?

This was all okay, right? It was just a sheere coincidence that her stomach was uneasy everytime she met him to? It didn't feel exactely like it did with Steve, but it was very similar. Maybe a bit less intese. But that didn't have to mean anything.
----------------------------------------------------
This is really turning into a "what man do I want" story, but poor Neda keeps rolling wants about all those manlymen around campus. It'll probably change later on, or maybe not. Though, having kids and moving the generation along is kind of the point in this challenge, so...

Pointless thing to add: I use the heightslider for my sims, and haven't noticed how short Neda is. Aino was short to, but not that short.

5.1 Fresh attire

Opening the door to the worndown house, Neda was lucky enough to get a place all to herself. It would've been a lot more social to have roommates, but she'd lived in a house chucked to the brim with sims and animals. Now she wanted to feel how it was living alone for a while.

Having no idea how university- sims dressed either, she'd settled for what she assumed was a fresh, yet summerly, hipster attire. Maybe she should've just dressed in something she wanted, but it was hard finding a style when she'd never really cared about clothes.

Just to make her stand out even more, her parents and brother had gone with her to campus to make sure everything would be okay. She appreciated the gesture, but it would've been nice to not stick out this early on. Now that she was an adult, Neda wanted to pretend she knew how to be one.

It's a bit empty here. Do you want us to go with you and get some nicer furniture? Daniel wasn't to thrilled of having his little girl all alone on campus. But, despite his protests, Dragan wanted to take classes online so he could marry his girlfriend instead, and stay in Jericho. That meant that Neda was going to stay alone, far away from home.

Daaad. Neda whined. Like it wasn't enough that her parents payed her rent: I'll be fine.

Yeah, I'll transfer some simoleons to your account so you can buy something. Daniel decided to do some deaf- parenting. That's when you asked your kid something, and when they answered you did what you meant was best anyway.

As usual, it was impossible to talk with dad about this. Not that she was ungrateful, but she wanted to be a grownup.

Despite her recent thought about wanting to be all grownup, she decided this was not the time to pretend she didn't want free stuff. Not all sims were as lucky as her. Her parents could afford to put her through an education, pay her rent and still give her a more than enough for other things.

Thanks dad.

She didn't need to specify exactely what she was thanking for: No problem honey.

As much as Aino had wanted to stay with her daughter until she'd settled in, Daniel had said a pretty clear "no". But unlike him, she'd actually gone to university, and she had a good lot of advice to give: The campus security are useless, and don't be alone outside after dark. And remember; girls are not experiments. If she had any regrets about university, that was one of her bigger ones, just using that poor girl like that.

Neda almost had to ask if mum could repeat herself: Wha... what?

Don't worry mum. Campus is way safe and if I need to put someone throught an experiment, I'll do it to a boy. That was definitely what mum meant. But, she wasn't studying science or anything, so she wouldn't need to experiment on anyone.

That's not what I meant honey. Aino knew her daughter had never really been interested in any romance, but come on.

Yes mum, that was exactely what you meant! Neda chose to interpret that as she wanted, thank you very much! Damnit mum! Gross! This was even worse than finding the loveletters from dad.

Dragan had been lucky enough to escape mums advice, as he finished carrying her few possessions inside. She hadn't wanted to take to much junk with her.

If you want better grades, just contact me okay? I'll fix it for you in an instance. As the airhead he was, he'd figured that he was going to try his luck in politics back home. A nice little internship and a few classes, and he should be good to go. How hard could politics be anyway?

Uhm, thanks but I think I'll want to try to work for them. You know, so I'll learn something.

Why would she work for something that he could get her for free: Okay.

But if you change your mind, remember what I said. Just the thought of actually working hard at something made him shiver. What was the point? Why not just enjoy life instead, and you know, work with yapping sims after the mouth.

Sure Dragan.

Okay, and buy some curtains. There's probably some pervs around here. This looked like a place that would draw pervs to it.

Sighing Neda answered: Sure Dragan. He was hopeless.

Neda planned on becoming that one sim in the family that had a normal job and education. But she was going to get some curtains and new stuff. She wasn't allowed to paint the walls, but she could get some other stuff.

Since it was summer, and the place needed to be a bit lighter, Neda bought home some ligtcoloured flowery stuff, doing her best to create a sense of summerbreeze and home. Because she kind of missed home already.

She was even able to find a cheap tv and even more flowers. Because she knew that grownups had flowers all around the house.

As soon as she was done, she went down to the student union to meet up some of the other students. She could've pretended to be shy, but that train had long passed. She'd barely started talking to  a woman named Ayana, when they were interrupted by the sweet sound of a brawl.

The fight was nearly over before Neda managed to get there. Some poor fairy got his wings handed to him; and pretty brutally it seemed. Since she was such a classy lady, her curiosity got the better of her and decided to chat him up a bit. Poor fairyguy definitely needed a cheering up, and since she considered herself a good sim, it was the right thing to do.

Though seeing the guy that was doing the beating, quickly changed her mind. Yeah, the fairy definitely didn't need any comforting, he was probably to embarassed.

He wasn't even breathing heavily, so he had to be used to beating fairies up: Steve Texas, nice too meet you.

Your name's Texas, and you went all Texas on him! Neda was impressed. And he was hot, unlike the fairy. Not that it had anything to do with her talking to him instead of the fairy. It was a total coincidence.

Went what on him? Steve Texas didn't seem to have heard that expression before, so Neda smoothly tried to save her face: Nothing! Nothing. It was... Hey, nice right hook! She didn't know the first thing about boxing or fighting, but she'd seen they say that in movies.

I know. Wow, he seemed so confident. She'd never met a guy like him before. Ofcourse, she didn't have any experience with guys at all, but was still pretty sure they usually weren't like him.

As the charming woman she was, she knew exactely what to say to impress: Aren't you afraid that you'll loose you shiny white smile?

Nah. I barely ever loose a fight. Steve was quite the jock, so he was used to beating up nerds and hipsters. This girl looked like a hipster, but he was pretty sure she was a fake hipster.

Neda decided Steve wanted to play pool with her, and didn't take no for an answer. What he thought about beeing bossed around by a citygirl is unknown, but atleast he wasn't complaining.

After loosing the game of pool, Neda and Steve tried a game of pingpong. They were both terrible at it. But it was fun trying something new, and it looked pretty simple.

Desperate to win, she forgot to put on her sexy- face for Steve. He didn't say anything. Not that it mattered at all, because as usual, she lost the game. Beeing a looser, Neda was used to loosing at games.

For some strange reason Steve wanted to meet some other sims than just her, so Neda went and got a soda; just to have it blow up in her face. It was something about her and doing something right, that just didn't go well together. Well, she didn't fail all the time. It just happened a lot more to her than other sims.

After cleaning the sodastaing, Neda couldn't find Steve anywhere, so she tried chatting with Ayana a bit instead. She was quite the nerd, so the two of them had a lot more in common than her and Steve. Not that she was insterested ofcourse.

Are you noticing the creepy barista following our every move? Ayana seemed very uncomfortable.

It's probably because we're standing right infront of him. Neda tried calming her down a bit. After all, she'd also stare if someone stood straight infront of her physical workplace.

As soon as Ayana couldn't stand chatting more with her, Neda happily moved on to the next nerd; she was already getting good at picking them out. She instantly regretted chatting up Walter. To be fair, he looked like he was crazy with those staring eyes. Besides, his hands were way to soft. Wonder what handlotion he used?

Turned out looks could decieve, and he was actually quite nice. They spent the rest of the evening talking about music. She was pretty sure he was wealthy, not just because of the soft hands, but he just looked and sounded the part. Like he wasn't used to tired teachers that just wanted to go home, and classmates spitting paper at you throught papertubes.

Before going to bed that day, Neda called Niko. She'd promised to phone him to tell how it went: University is really great! I've already gotten three friends!

Weren't you supposed to focus on studying? She never got used to how clear his voice was from the other end. He also sounded a bit tired. Wonder what time it was in China?

I can do both! She could! How hard could it be?

Walking into the first lecture the very next day, Neda was a bit scared. It looked very official. But the teacher said it was nice to have her in class, even if she hadn't been paying a lot of attention. And that was good right?
--------------------------------------------------
So, I dropped off the face of simplanet for a while again. because photobucked changed their  rules, so I have to pretty much make the blog from scratch. I'm way to cheap to pay money per year, to be able to use them as host for pictures to a simblog. Anyway, it's really just my own fault, but I had so much done and ready, and then I had to do it all over again. So I went and felt sorry for myself instead, playing an uglacy for a while. Sorry bout that, but I do love to wallow in selfpity and despair.

So to something completly different:

His name is Texas! How awesome isn't that? I've never noticed him around uni before. How can a guy be called Texas and I've never seen him? And if you see any of Ainos old friends, pretend you don't.

Back to the story; I don't really feel Neda in any way, but that can happen when you roll. So it'll just be some gameplay for a while to see if she fleshes out a bit. She's good at getting friends though. And I tweak every guy she meets, just in case she gets the hots for some of them. They're still pretty similar as they look already though, so ugly sims aren't my fault this time. *crossing fingers for Steve*
