Nothing is more enjoyable than moving to a new town and persuing a friendship with the first woman you meet. Remember to get a couple of dogs and scare the living daylight out of her just to make a lasting impression. Daniel is a bit of a womanizer, but he's all faithful when in a relationship and the romance just never dies with this one- it gets annoying eventually.

This was where their daughter lived? It was so industrialized and even the door was rusty. The entire place reeked of unsafety and rats. But, she wanted to live downtown; quite litterally in the middle of town. So what had they expected she could afford? A penthouse appartment with view of the entire city? They gave eachother that short look that showed that they thought the same thing, but chose not to say anything.

The hallway looked slightly less aweful, but not exactely cozy. Aino did her best trying not to judge, and to remember how her husbands first place had looked. But then again, Neda had parents that could help her get some place better than this. She already knew that it was a small place to. She opened the door with a heavy lump in her stomach.

Damn... She heard Daniel mumble in the background, and she agreed. It was a lot different from what she'd expected.

The wallpaper was to much, the decorations didn't match and the entire thing was way overboard. None of them had expected that of her. Guess she'd grown up somewhere along the way.

Hi dad! Mum! Neda had come out from what they assumed was the livingroom: I know, it's a bit overboard. I didn't think about planning before decorating so... The livingroom's pretty neutral though. It wasn't all her ofcourse, most of the floors had been there when she moved in and they were expensive to switch out. She didn't have that many simoleons as of yet;  journalism didn't pay that well.

This is the bedroom slash workplace. Yeah I know. The floors were already here, but I'll have to admit the wallpaper is all me. She didn't notice it that much anymore.

It's very... colourful... Her dad said slowly. That meant he thought it was aweful, but just because they would never redecorate didn't mean she wouldn't.

I like the bunnyrug. Atleast mum tried to be positive.

And here's the kitchen. That was also where she had all the nectar she'd inherited from them: I might consider switching out the kitchentops.

Damn... It was dad again.

Yeah, I wanted to remove those uhm.. thingies in the ceiling, but the janitor said I couldn't. Something about firehasards and indoorsclimate and stuff. Stupid janitor not letting her remove things just because it was "dangerous".

And this is the livingroom, and that's my boyfriend Steve Texas. We're getting married. She hadn't wanted to say anything upfront, because she wanted to surprise them. This way they wouldn't start the whole "you're to young to get married yet" thing they pulled on Irena. And her and Bård had a really good marriage. The whole rumours about him stalking exgirlfriends were just mean spirited rumours!

And then, it turned out that Steve wasn't just finishing his degree in economy, he was even taking one in technology! And yet he started working in journalism when he realized I was working in it! Neda thought that was so romantic! So, she'd cheated on him a few times, but that was going to change now; it was just youthful indiscretion! They were perfect for eachother.

Well, I couldn't bear not seeing you as often as possible, Steve chipped in.

Isn't he the best! She'd do right by him this time around.

Sounds dreamy... Mum shoot Steve with daggers. That was so rude. She'd expected this from dad, not from mum: Now he gets to see you pretty much around the clock, always knowing your whereabouts. Sound sooo lovely. And that sarcastic voice. What did she know? Tons of couples worked at the same place! Jobs weren't that easy to come by.

I always regretted not starting out with communication to begin with. After all, I've published five books. Steve had been so busy in uni, Neda just wished she'd known. Then she wouldn't have been so frustrated, and she definitely wouldn't have cheated on him. Not that it wasn't all her fault!

Five books! Mum, isn't that impressive?! Why weren't they as thrilled as she was?

Did you hear that Daniel? Not only does Steve have two degrees, he's published five books. What was up with mum? Why didn't she love him as much as she did? And him and Neda will see eachother around the clock. Doesn't it sound great?

Well, dad would definitely say something about mums behaviour. He'd love Steve! Because he was perfect.

I heard Aino. Really dad? You to? He always sided with mum! Why: Two degrees, five books and still worked constantly to be able to manage keeping his head above water. Sounds legit.

Well, Neda defended Steve: Education is expensive. The sofa creaked every time she moved. Stupid bamboo- crap, or plastic or whatever it was made of.

It is, dad said knowingly: Very expensive.

Like, he barely had time for me at all at university! She kept going; He just kept working all the time, to study. That takes some dedication.

Steve smiled at her: Yeah. Good thing that you have so many friends, so you didn't get lonely. Like Walter, Troy, Mahmoud, Eddy, Anoki...

She didn't say a word about Bonegnasher, she still couldn't believe she'd sunk so deep as to fuck him and his laughable bumblebeewings.

Aino chewed the inside of her cheek for a while, before looking at her husband: Wow, that's a lot of mensnames. You know, your dad had a lot of ladyfriends before we started dating to. Right Daniel? A lot of friends. Didn't matter how perfect a guy was, he'd always be insecure if his girlfriend had so many male friends. In the normal cases atleast.

Dad didn't seem to happy at the mentioning of that: Really dad? You had a lot of women friends?

Yeah, he didn't look at her: Always have. He'd had to remember to thank his wife later. But he saw where she was coming from. It wasn't a comment about him, it was a hint to their daughter, one she didn't take. Besides; gross.

Seems like my little Neda takes after her old dad. Daniel directed it at Steve. He didn't like him, and neither did his wife. Though, what were they going to do? They already had to little contact with Irena and that weirdarse stalker- husband of hers. Ofcourse, Irena probably knew what she was doing; Neda seemd completely lost about it. He was so glad that atleast Dragan had married someone sane. Who would've thought that of all his normal kids, that airhead Dragan ended as the most stable one?

Though from the look of it, Steve seemed to know what he meant.

Well, I don't really have a problem with Neda having friends. Our love is strong and we're getting married soon. Right Neda?

Smiling, Neda nodded. Ofcourse she agreed with him. Though, it kind of looked more like he was trying to convince mum than her. Not that she needed convincing ofcourse, this was definitely the best idea she'd ever had.

So, when's the date? Aino asked.

Well, we haven't settled on one yet.

Mum was relentless about this: How are you going to pay for it?

Well, we're just planning on having a small one. You know, a little  private ceremony. He pulled a sadface, that didn't seem to work on Nedas aweful mother.

Sounds romantic. Okay, now Neda wasn't sure if mum were serious or salty:So what does Steve parents say about this?

Oh, I haven't met the rest of them yet! Neda said: Steve wants to surprise them to! But they live really far away, so it'll probably take a while. This wasn't weird at all, ofcourse. To be honest, she didn't want to meet them at all.

Sounds legit. Dad said again. What was up with that behaviour?! What's their names?

Uhm, mister and missus Texas! What else would it be?

So, are you planning on having kids? That was dad to. Okay, this was not going as well as she'd thought it would. Why couldn't they just be happy for her?! She pretended she didn't notice Steces short glances. She was going to defend him loudly another time. Mum and dad just needed a little time.

It's just so typical, isn't it? Dragan marries the only girl he's ever kissed, and they are perfectly fine with that. But when you marry Bård, it's wrong because he's "Probably a stalker", and when I want to marry Steve, it's wrong to! Neda had, against better judgment complained to her sister. She'd just accidentally bumped into her at the bathpool: Little miss Lillian is soooo perfect, but my Steve with his two universitydegrees isn't good enough? Or was it three? Whatever.

She's a witch! A litteral witch, she even rides a broom! But noooo, that's perfectly fine. But Steve, who workes as a journalist, like me is "questionable"! Irena looked really happy. Wonder if she was farting in the tub? Irena would definitely do that in a public hottub.

She wasn't entirely sure if Irena was even listening to her, or to busy beeing without her kid. And then they were all: When are you getting married, how are you going to pay for it? Like it was some sort of problem that we haven't settled a date yet, or that we're planning on a small, private ceremony!

They did that. You did that, Dragan did it, but when it's me it's questionable? Again, why? Steve is so perfect! He'd do anything for me! Neda wanted to have the type of relationship that mum and dad had, and Steve would be perfect for that.

So he won the contest then? Irena was to happy to pretend not noticing her sisters loveproblems.

It wasn't a contest!

But he won. What happened to the other guy?

Walter and I kept it up until we left. Mahmoud was just a few times thing, Troy was a gross accident and Bonegnasher was an act of selfhate. As much as she usually wouldn't trust Irena, Neda still believed she'd never rat her out on cheating. That would be low.

Bonegnasher?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he kills women and gnaws the flesh off their bones. He kind of looked like that.

Irena grinned at her: Does Steve knows about this?

Are you out of your mind? Ofcourse not! I'm not going to tell him that I slept anything that moved; especially Bonegnasher. And you're not going to tell him either!

Ofcourse not! Irena laughed. She just thought it was fun that her stuckup sister wasn't a tad better than her.

I kind of miss Walter though, but Steve and I are a better match. And he workes really hard. Walter kind of just flew on his parents simoleons. Unlike her, who had sometimes contemplated working at school instead of just partying.

Irena gave one of her best all- knowing stares: So Steve is bigger?

Stop beeing gross Irena. Steve and I will have prettier babies to. That was a good enough reason. Had to think about those poor kids and their genes: Walter was nice, but not very pretty. Steve is way hotter, his education is better and he treats me like a princess. She might be joking a bit, because she was in love with Steve, the rest was just perks.

As long as your thinking with your heart. Irena said.

She was thinking with her heart.
----------------------------------------------------
Oh Neda, your such a romantic. No, I assume everyone gets that she's actually in love with Steve.

Her favourite colour is white, but it's a bit boring. So I went a bit overboard with colours and patterns to compensate. But I'm terrible at decorating anyway, so then she gets to be to. It kind of suits her though, as she's still a bit all over the place.

Completely unimportant, but I keep forgetting how Aino really looks like a classic witch.

NSFW: butts ;)

Troy seemed to have a habit of passing out due to exhaustion. Maybe he was low on plasma or something? When Neda had invited to a party, she hadn't even thought about him might not eat regular sim food, but plasma. Damn. No way was she offering off her blood either, she wasn't taking that chance. Not that she thought he was a freak!

As expected, Steve was a no- show but she still wanted to enjoy the time with friends. Even if her and Troy had... she could barely think about it.

So, how are you feeling? She did her best to pretend everything was normal between them, especially since his girlfriend was here.

Fine, fine. He quickly said: I should go back to Ye.

You should, Neda nodded. Awkward.

She had bought a juicekeg, but ofcourse it had started pouring down, so they had decided to stay indoor instead. The few guests seemed to enjoy themselves even if the place was tiny. She wasn't sure why Mahmoud and "whosthat" were here, because they hadn't been invited. Though, they would've been to few with all the sims that didn't show up.

Other than Ayana unsucessfully trying to put her moves on Ye, everything went peacefully.

It wasn't a large party, but the guests left happy and with full stomachs. She'd enjoyed it atleast.

The fraternity seemed to have constant kegparties, and this day was no different. And as usual, Neda was invited. Sometimes she wondered if she was starting to get some sort of reputation. Why else did they invite her every single time? No, she probably didn't have that.

She snook away in the early morning hours, planning on sleeping the worst of it off at home.

Already the fresh memory had started haunting her.

She was never going to another kegparty, ever! What the hell was up with her? Two boyfriends, she slept with Troy and now Mahmoud to? This was so embarassing.

All that partying and secrecy also took a toll on her grades, but she still managed midterm to a C average. Not  that bad, could've been worse. But wasn't that the story of her life in general? Always mediocre at everything she did.

After a very long vacation, Neda was finally back at uni, just to find that Steve had missed her deeply and dearly. She was definitely going to be a better girlfriend this time around. They were so perfect for eachother that even weird strangers smiled at their public shows of affection.

Other weird strangers were just plain weird and it was best to leave them alone.

Once again, Steve didn't show up when invited, so Neda decided to play in the snow on her own; like a real adult. She should probably start doing more schoolwork to try to get her grades up, but it was so boring. It could wait a bit longer, right?

She knew that she should just let it go, and come to terms with how much he worked. And what if they could have a future together? Maybe if they moved together, he'd work less and they would be happy. Because they were such a perfect couple. Neda just wanted a relationship like her parents had. She was sure that given some time, Steve would be just perfect for her. They just had to start living like normal sims first. She just wished he was more available.

Available like Walter. He just seemed to be out and about all the time, that's why they kept bumping into eachother. She called and invited him out to ofcourse, but not this time. This time it was all a coincidence.

Hi, what are you doing out in the snow. he was a bit thinly dressed wasn't he? Or maybe she was just to eager for the real cold to set in.

Just getting some air. It sounded belieavable, and he wasn't the only one at the park either.

It's a lot warmer than I'd thought it be. She had to admit; but it's still a bit to cold for your outfit, won't you say? All her thoughts were pure and innocent. she was the epiphany of faithfulness. Just because Steve had stood her up again, didn't mean she was going to use Walter as some kind of rebound tool. He didn't deserve that. And neither did Steve.

It would have been a lot easier if he'd atleast put up a fight of sort, instead he was just as willing as ever. Didn't the guy have some selfrespect? Or was it her that didn't have any? But it didn't mean anything! That was what was important!

Now, she had promised never to go to another party at Mahmouds, but for once she needed it. Why couldn't she just stop humping on Walter? He wasn't even that hot! It was just a few hours since they'd slept together, and she was sure at hell not getting drunk today! No more sex with weirdos; neither known or unknown ones!

Bitch!! Some woman came up and slapped her around without any warning. Steve clapped and hoped for a chickfight; drunk chickfights was so hot. Unfortunately Neda wasn't big of a barwler.

Instead he kissed her wounded ego: Surprise! Bet you thought you wouldn't see me here. For once he'd been able to show up, and he'd been thrilled to see Neda at the party to.

She was really happy to see him, even if she'd just slept with Walter. But that was different! Texas made her heart skip a beat, kind of like Walter did. No, stop that! She wanted to be with Steve. She wanted to be with him.

Uhm... could we like take it a bit slow? I'm a bit tired. Neda pretended she was sleep depraved and not exhausted from having sex a few hours ago. It would probably go well.

Sure, I'll be gentle. Texas was to happy to help.

The rest of the time, Neda pretended she didn't see Walter no matter where they met. And they met very often. Way to often.

Even at snowflake day, she didn't invite him to the gift giving party she held at the bowlorama. Neda did all she could to pretend that he wouldn't hear about it, that he wasn't sitting at his little dorm all alone without anyone there.

She'd invited Troy though, whom she'd also slept with, but not Walter. She was such a hypocrit. But it was different, she wasn't even remotely interested in Troy. Or in Walter, she was just interested in Steve. because they were perfect for eachother.

Ofcourse Steve had to leave early, and Neda spent the rest of the time with Ayana. Not that it was bad, she liked spending time with her. They were really good friends, but her conscience was eating her up.

Eventually that greedy sob Eddie, started ravaging the giftpile without anyones permission. This was why having parties at public places sucked.

Mahmouds parties was going to give her alcohol poisoning. So why did she keep on saying "yes" and showing up. Though last time, Steve had surprised her. Maybe he'd do it again.

Hey, lady! Quit hogging all the juice man!

Go wash yourself you greasy hipster. Neda laughed at him. Completely forgetting that she herself had tried beeing one.

Oh no, she'd gone even further than usual with the juice this time! Think Neda, think! What happened after you streaking?

Oh oh! She hadn't streaked alone! Several other sims had streaked to. Good, that way no one noticed her, probably. She hoped atleast. Damn, what a headache.

Dressed butt? Blue dressed butt? Neda did her best to ignore the stinging pain in her head, to focus. Blue butt.

Her wrists hurt, why were they hurting? Someone had grabbed her pretty brutally and made her put clothes on- and her....

Who are you calling Rudolph the red nosed cop-deer now lady?

Shit! She'd been arrested and she'd gotten a big fine. For streaking! Oh no, was this going to go on her record?

One more incident from you lady, and I'll have you thrown out of school! Officer Rudolph had been furious at her! But not at the ones holding the party ofcourse! If I see you again, I'm throwing you in jail!

And then she'd drunk biked back to the party, and had even more to drink?!! What was up with her anyway? She was supposed to be a nice sim! She was supposed to be good and kind, and now she'd been arrested, fined, drunk biked and completely ignored the orders of a policeofficer!

You have got to be kidding? She'd slept with Walter again? What was she, an animal? Okay, that was it! No more drinking! Ever!!!!

Neda had just snuck out, gotten a shower and had just bought herself the most expensive coffe she'd ever had. It wasn't even good, but if it could cure her hangover it was worth it. This had to stop! What was even going on with her? This wasn't like her at all. She was supposed to be the good one. She bit her teeth together as thinking gave her an even bigger headache.

She was aweful! She didn't deserve anything good in life. She could just take a deep dive in the snow and never return. She was shit, that was what she was. She didn't deserve Steve. Or this coffe.

The alcohol threatened to come up again, when she looked up at the aweful Bonegnasher: Hi! And why the hell did he sound so cheery? He'd probably gnawed on some bones or something

Maybe if she pretended she didn't remember how aweful he was, he'd go away: Hey.

An awkward silence occured before bonegnasher talked again: So, uhm... I'm not sure if you remember me. We had a little occurence at the nerdshop.

Fuck, she couldn't get away with it then: Yeah, I remember it. Kind of. Fucking gross incel.

Shit. Bonegnasher said: Listen, I'm really sorry. I have no idea what got into me. I've been wanting to apologize to you the entire semester. I just... I'm sorry okay. I'm usually not like that. I'm a really nice guy.

Now that was usually a sign that they weren't nice, but she'd do anything to get rid of him and his face: Don't worry about. It's all forgotten.

Really? He seemed legit about it atelast.

Maybe Neda had been wrong about him: Yes, really. Don't worry about it. Everyone can have a bad day.

Wow, thanks. You're really a lot nicer than I thought. He did have a point didn't he? She was scum. Cheating on her amazing boyfriend, leading poor Walter on, getting arrested for beeing drunk and disorderly. She was scum, and deserved to be punished.

And there was really just one way to punish herself accordingly wasn't it? What could be more terrible than tasting Bonegnashers bonegnashing mouth?

Or to do the unspeakable with him? In a poor, innocent igloo on top of that; defile it's purity.

He hadn't gnawed the flesh off her bones, so Neda ended taking her finals with an average of C. Finally she could move on with her life.

And what had she done? The thought of Bonegnashers panting and nerdy voice would forever haunt her. Of all the lows she'd hit at uni, nothing in her life could ever get worse than that.

The hardest part was still saying goodbye to Steve. She'd been good and avoided Walter, but she still felt aweful- poor Steve- she'd been horrible to him. But she'd be a better sim now, this time around she'd be the good sim she'd always wanted to be.
--------------------------------------------
Retrospectively I realize that the roll might have meant a costume party, and not the type she rolled a wish for. Well, a party's a party, and I'll just remember it correctly next time instead.

Ah well, it's all over for uni. Let's just hope she straightens herself out. And with that, I mean that I hope her rolls and wishes will be nice to her.
