4.12 My dreadful angel

warning: gore, language, nsfw

Ian was thrilled at beeing a grandfather and was at his daughters place as often as possible. Now he had two little baby- girls to take care of. As the hair on his head had turned grey, Catherines sweet baby- scent made him feel younger than he was. Like most babies she was easy- going and either slept or ate. Atleast that's what she did when he was there, constantly carrying her around like the precious little sim she was.

He loved helping his daughter out- cooking, cleaning, doing laundry- everything for the excuse of seeing his granddaughter again. Well, Aino hadn't said anyhting about it, so Ian doubted he'd outstayed his welcome yet. He bet she was happy that he was here all the time, because that way she got to sleep whilst he watched the baby.

Was he going to leave soon? Aino was so tired of having dad around. He was more than helpful enough, but it would've been nice to have atleast one day of full responsibilities. She should be grateful- but he was more exhausting then the baby. She had to be the worst daughter in simnation.
She'd told mum about Catherine when she'd been born to- one of the few phonecalls she'd been allowed to take. But she hadn't said anything other than a dry, uninterested: oh. Maybe she didn't want to be a grandmother? Maybe she had misunderstood what mum meant? Maybe she remembered the entire thing wrong? What if she had misunderstood? What if mum was mad at her?

This day though, she'd been able to sneak out. Aino was tired, but no worse than the chill air should be able to wake her up nicely. She'd lied and sent a text to dad that Catherine was on a schedueld check- up for weighing and measuring length. That way he'd leave them alone for a while. She was actually grateful for dads help, but there was something called "to much grandpaness". Though now she wished she'd thought of how difficult it was using a stroller in the snow- the hard wheels not rolling. She wished she'd bought one with real oldfashioned wheels.

Just to make sure she wouldn't accidentally bump into dad, her and Catherine took the subway to the other side of town- to Bermond Esplanade. The large building housed several different shops and cafès, overlooking the nearby beach. A small stroke of genious from whoever owned it. That way it had the view for wintertime customers, and merchandise for the beachgoers during summer. Sometimes Aino wondered if investing in some stocks was a good idea. Then she remembered she didn't know anything about it. Atleast if she'd owned it she'd invest in some way of getting strollers up to the porch- other than having to carry it up the nearby stairs.

Leaving the stroller outside under a roof, Aino carried Catherine inside putting her in the nearby babyswing. It wasn't ideal for her to sit yet, because it could hurt her back. A short while once in a while wouldn't hurt though. Maybe she should by one to have at home, they were a smart invention: Just stay here a while, okay Cat. Mummy and the Claw has some unfinished business. Was she a bad mother for not looking at her daughter every second she was awake? Sometimes she put her in the crib even when awake, just to sleep a bit herself.

Woooow! The claw grabbed on to a ghostgnome! It was scary, but sooo neat! And it wasn't like gnomes could move around on their own or anything. Maybe she could keep it in her garden? Or give it to dad, because he'd love to have it. That way she didn't have to have it, because it could maybe get a bit scary having to look at it. Was the ghostgnome why she felt a bit uncomfortable? Like someone was staring at her.

Trying to take a descreet look around, Aino didn't see anyone suspicious. The only ones there was a couple playing skeeball. And they were deep in the game, not even taking a glance over at them. Maybe she was just worried about dad showing up, then she'd have to explain why she'd lied. Shaking it off, Aino decided it was all in her own head: Look Cat! Mum won a gnome! It fell on deaf babyears, as she was already sound asleep. Well, it was naptime. She was such a good baby that barely even cried when she got tired.

With intense concentration, Daniel vaguely noticed Hans' grumpiness: You don't want to try? When he'd asked meeting up at Bermond Esplanade, did he think they were going to drink tea? This was one of the better gamingplaces in town, and without all the nerds. Well, other than Hans that was; Nah, I'm fine. I just don't see the fascination with tvs and all this fancy modern gear.
You're just saying that because you know you're going to loose. There was no better way to get a gaming partner than slapping out a slight  insult.

As expected, Hans grabbed the controller and joined in. A challenge was a challenge after all: What were you saying? It had taken about twenty seconds to outrace Daniels car: Uhm, begginers luck! It's beginners luck! What the fuck? How was he loosing already? This was the problem with not having a gamesystem at home. He should definitely buy that and a large tv instead of a stove that worked, he couldn't cook if his life depended on it anyway.

After another twenty seconds, Hans started slamming the controller: Aargh! Somethings wrong with it! This was why he hated electronics, except the phone. That was different, one kind of needed one to be able to do anything today.
Nothings wrong with it, Daniel pulled a cocky grin: You just suck. I told you it was beginners luck. Ginger just had to understand he was the best one- because winning over someone in a tvgame was the epiphany of manliness and perfection.

Trying a different approach, Hans attempted to keep psyching him down:  I can beat you in every other game there is.
No you can't. But ginger just kept going: Dart, pool, skeeball, bowling. You name it, I can win it.
Bull. You're so weak you can't even lift a bowlingball. Daniel tried pressing the opposing car out of the road. Was his own fault for picking a crappy one.
Tsk tsk. The words of a looser. Trying to make me the problem, because you know I'm right.

Hans kept on the talking: It's not about strength, it's about technique.
That's what you always say. Daniel interrupted. Weaklings always said that.
A part of Hans wondered if he should be a bit nicer with all that had happened to the guy. But how else was he supposed to make sure he was fine? Ofcourse he knew everything that had happened; including Aino having another mans baby. To think she'd cheated on his buddy to.
I can beat you in any game you can think off and more, Daniel continued. As long as it involved moving, he had the upperhand anyway.
Then why don't you? I suggest bowling. They had to leave this place then, but it was worth it: Let's finish the game first. He was not going to let this chance to win get away.

There was a limit to how long she could use the Claw. Even as the others left, Aino decided to play some other games. She wasn't all to worried about Cat waking up, as babies usually weren't as sensitive to sound. And if she could sleep in the noise from the swing, the sound from the nearby machines shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe she should have stared more at the baby. Because as soon as the music stopped, Aino realized why someone carried their kids around in one of those monkey harnesses. Because the alternative was someone approaching your baby when you weren't looking.

How did he keep on finding her? The cellphone in her pocket was the most likely culprit, but she didn't have time to blame it. It wasn't like she hadn't known this would happen, she just hoped it would be later. Kol had seen their daughter, and he had to know she was his. Unfortunately he wasn't dumb enough not to understand it: Get away from her! Aino whispered shocked. Cat was her daughter! Hers! Not his! She didn't care whatever he imagined, she belonged with her!

She was still scared of him, and not just because of the physical size. Even if she wanted to run away and hide in a corner, it wasn't an option this time. He was standing between her and her baby!
You can't deny me seeing my daughter. Kol didn't seem happy to see her either: And you can't refuse me holding her. As usual he kept his voice low. Not that he had to, because he'd made sure to approach when no one was around.

The two sims had just mysteriously vanished. She could barely make out the woman sitting outside in the snow, drinking something. Probably a hot beverage. Maybe if she looked scared enough she would enter the room and help her? No she wouldn't, it was almost impossible to see anything out if the frostrimmed windows. Damnit!
I think I'd love to spend some time with my daughter.... no! She knew this was going to happen.

I'm wealthy and important, and you are a used and dirty whore, just like your murderer of a mother. Shit, he was right. Why did he have to be right? Skuld wasn't the ideal grandma to have for a case like this: You shouldn't be allowed to take care of a child, it will turn out just like you. Aino chewed on her painted nails. It was also the reason why she went to a nailsalong, because she couldn't chew their nailpolish off. No, she loved her baby. But she couldn't really take care of her could she? Looking at Cat in the chair, she came to the terrible truth that a baby loved everyone. She would even love Kol.

What do you think they'll say when I file for full custody? Do you think anyone will judge me? They'll talk about the disgusting slut that fucked any guy that walked past her, and then about how terrible you are; keeping the poor dad from knowing about his own child. She hated that little smirk he had, she just wanted him to be quiet. But denying the truth in his words was impossible: They'll know that you did it to get the poor dad to pay childsupport, for a kid he didn't even know he had. She hadn't demanded any childsupport, the city just gave it to her automatically. She couldn't even stop it.

He wished he'd never suggested the bowlorama. It was the worst idea he'd ever had in his entire lifetime, and he'd had a lot of them. Just... couldn't they keep on walking? They'd been at the first floor of the gaming- area, but why did they have to be on the groundfloor? Why hadn't he just kept playing computergames: Danny, come on. Let's just go. It took a long while before answering: wait.

He'd been right, it was that fucker from spookyday! It couldn't be a coincidence, and he still seemed like a dick. Daniel wanted to think that Aino deserved whatever that shit was angry about, but... Something just seemed off. Not that it was any of his problem ofcourse, no no: Danny, come on! Hans nearly whispered it. Why did he do that for? Personally, he kind of wanted them to notice him. Not because it would give him a great excuse to walk over and punch the guys face in or anything. He was probably just about to have a heartattack by the way his blood kept pumping in his ears.

Hans had to be honest with himself. He wasn't worried about what his mate would do. He worried what Kol would do if he saw him. He'd been beyond aweful as a teenager, and Hans just wished he'd said something, instead of looking up at his tough friend that just took what he wanted.
Who is that guy? Daniel had said it mainly to himself, but it was the babies dad without question. Atleast her dad hadn't lied then, she was seeing the babies father. That was odd, why was his nail digging into the palm of his hands? He hadn't even noticed the clenching fists.

Danny! He turned around to face Hans, who seemed a bit desperate at the moment: Let's just go already!
All the time, he kept trying not to stare at the guy Aino was talking to, the guy that had fucked his girlfriend... just let it go, no need to be mad at him after all. Just unclench your jaw a bit: What? I want to see what happens. Not that he was a weird stalker, it was just that whenever he bumped into her, he pretended not noticing. Why the hell would she fuck that gross guy when she had him?
     I just... let's leave okay!

Why? Why was Hans sounding so scared and uncomfortable? A small thought eventually dawned on him. Aino and Hans knew eachoter, and dickface over there was around their age: Who is he? You know him, don't you? Not that he was anything but curious.
Danny. It's not important. You just have to....
No. Don't pretend it's for my own good. You're the one who don't want to tell! Just tell already. Maybe dickface was some local hero or something.

Daniel started worrying that Hans was going to cry, by the way he kept blinking. If he did, he was absolutely not going to comfort him. Drawing breath through his nose, Hans finally coughed out: Kol. He's names Kol Eliassen.
Really? How's that even a name? Dickface has a stupid name: It's just a nickname, but it doesn't matter. Just... I'll tell you everything, just please. Not here! Sheesh. What was going on with him: Okay... They could just go to one of the other shops in this place.

Or maybe you just hoped having a baby together would make me come and meet you? Maybe we should make another one? You'd like that wouldn't you? Aino visibly shivered at the thought. She'd rather not do that again, she'd rather not think about it. She didn't like to talk or think about anything that hurt her, because it just never made a difference. Besides, it was her own fault. She knew better:  An ugly whore like you should be thankful I ever touched you. You're disgusting. That's why I'll get custody of our daughter. She's just as disgusting as you.

She's not disgusting! That was the worst thing she'd ever heard! Her baby wasn't going to turn out like her! She was going to have a good and happy life, and eat snowcones and pat kittens!
Ofcourse she is. You're her mother. She'll be a whore, just like you
Don't call my daughter that!  What was it with men thinking that calling you a whore was effective? Didn't they understand how many times that had happened during a womans life?
He corrected her: Our daughter... You should know that after all, since you enjoyed how I fucked you...

What type of sim said something like that about a baby? About her baby?! Never having anyone talking shit about her baby before, Aino slapped on a smile so out of character that Kol blinked an extra time: Well, she pulled a big grin: Forgive me for forgetting, but your dick is so tiny, I never actually noticed you put it in. Imagine my surprice when I turned out pregnant. Had she just turned into her mother?
      What did you say?
You heard me. Aino kept the smile up, just because she knew it would annoy him more. Most likely he'd kill her, but she had a baby to protect!

As expected Kol got madder than a lemming: You've fucked so many you can put a house up your cunt! He'd raised his voice for a change, sims had to hear him all the way upstairs. This was kind of fun, no wonder sims hurt eachother: Guess every man has a dick the size of a house then, Aino made sure to keep her own voice low- just so noone would hear what she said: With you, it's the first time I've ever had to ask myself; did he put it in yet? Insulting a guys dick was way easy, and potentially dangerous. But she still found it hilarious.

You fucking bitch! Kol was furios, and not very good at insulting at that: You fucking whore, I'm going to beat your fucking face in! Even making a fist as to go through with the threat. Aino didn't doubt he'd do it, because he'd been brutal before. But she had Cat now, and there was no way she'd let that horrible man be a part of her life. She herself might not be the best rolemodel, but she sure was better than him: I'm going to slice your fucking face open before I kill you!!!

That's an excellent idea Kol, she said: Why don't you kill me? You'll end up in jail, next to my mum. And then what? Kol took a visible step backwards, clearly he hadn't expected this to be a part of it all. Why hadn't she thought of this before: She'll kill you. She'll do to you, what she did to your dad. Was that a bit of fear in his eyes, the small rememberance of the old saying that apples never fall far from the tree? Maybe she was capable of the same ammount of violence as her mum had?

Must be nice, walking around all your life thinking that you're tough. All the time knowing a blond with pink fingernails and heels killed your big, strong dad without any problems. Because every kid thought their dads were big and strong. Then they grew up: Fifteen years Kol, then she'll be eligible for parole. It's almost time now. And if you don't leave my daughter and me the fuck alone, I'll give her your damned name, adresse and number. How does that sound to you?

He was going to kill her, his fists was shaking with anger. He was going to beat her with those enormous hands. It was going to hurt, because he was damned strong. But, if he did beat her he wouldn't walk away freely, especially if it happened in public. Because no matter how much simoleons had, his family wasn't influential. And hers was- atleast the extended branch. She could almost see him calculating the risks.

He stomped away, with a threat: This is not over. But he left. He left her and baby Catherine. Aino was victorious! She'd won! Now it was just to worry that he'd continue his threats, but that wasn't something to care about now. How was he going to prove that Cat was his anyway? That took so long in court. And she was certain that he would never spend that many simoleons on getting his claws in her babygirl. Pft... this isn't over... famous last words of men that know they've been beaten.

The coffeshop and gamezone shared a wall, so the walk hadn't been that long. Though he found himself wondering why they didn't just have a door between the two places. On the other hand, it meant that the gamezone would be associated with this place; it looked like grandmas loved staying here. Okay, fine it was a bit charming. They could get tea later though, for now it was to get some information about the disgusting bastard that fucked his girlfriend: Spit it out.
Hans hesitated before starting: Kol is aweful. I can't believe that Aino would actually.. you know..
Fuck him? He wasn't a child: uhm.. yeah...

Listen, I get the guy is ugly as mouldy pigeon shit, but is there any other reason? Couldn't he just spit it out? He hated dragging things out of sims all the time.
Come on, Kol wasn't particularly ugly. Ofcourse not everyone had such high ideas about their own looks as Danny either. Though, sometimes Hans suspected it was to compensate for those faded scars: Okay. Aino and I dated as teenagers...
     I got that much.
     Could he actually read minds?

Taking another breath, Hans kept going: Ainos mother, the murder, killed his father. Ouch, but she'd killed their neighbours familymembers to and he wasn't a scrotum: Both her and Kol were just toddlers, but....
Again with dragging things out of him: But?
But Kol kind of blames Aino for it. That might be understandable, but still strange. Especially with an adult. She'd been a toddler, so what could she have done? But if he blamed her, why did he sleep with her: And Kol and me were very good friends during our childhood and teen years.

Just cut to the case already: He must've been mad when you started dating then.
Oh he was! Believe this or not, but I was kind of a geek.
What? No, I don't believe that! Face it Hans, you're still a geek.
No, no. It's true! Anyway, I followed him around like a puppy, because I thought he was really tough and all that crap. Yeah, Hans was a bit of a follower, but that wasn't inheritly bad. Not everyone could be a leader: But, Aino cheated on me.. with him...

Are you kidding me? That didn't make any sense at all. That guy was gross, and well; he got why someone would cheat on Hans. But on him?! And with that guy?
Hans stopped him, swallowing to make it easier to say the part that he'd dreaded. He usually never thought about it, but it was imposible now: Before we started dating, Kol and I met her near the old hotel. He was really furious as usual... and he... he kind of got her to you know... He made a vulgare gesture with his hand and mouth, so Daniel made it easier for him: A blowjob?
He nodded: It was just that.. she kind of didn't really want to... She said no, but he kept telling her that since her mum had killed her dad and... well...

That look he gave was not a good sign for a continued friendship: And I didn't stop it or anything. When she cheated with him... Kol told me that she'd.... ehm... you know... He made the same gesture again: And I kind of believed him. Because I was a dumb and gross teenager. But, now that I'm grown up, I kind of understand that it probably wasn't volunter from her side that time either. And I kind of think that he's done it more than those two times.

She wasn't the only one he did it to either. But they told. You know how it is though. Kol was popular and the girls ended up changing school. Daniel lost him a bit there. She'd had bruising to actually, that day in the park. And she'd been acting all strange, well, stranger than usual. And she had been oddly obsessed with having to see him all the time when they'd slept together the day after. Maybe she'd just have to be sure it was him? No, that couldn't be it.

He was getting a headache, but Hans just kept on explaining: I mean, I know there's not a single rule or anything for how girls behave after that. It's just that... Aino is scared of him. And she should be; there's something seriously wrong with him.
Doubt that has anything to do with his dad getting killed, Daniel said whilst rubbing his temple. It was just an easy excuse to give a young girl, to make her do what he wanted. Shit. That's why she'd been so strange at the museum. And he hadn't... how couldn't he have known? Guess she wasn't so easy to see through after all: I'm going to kill him...

Don't do anything! Hans exclaimed: You have no idea how he is.
What? He's not that big... Actually he looked a bit more like a giant, but he really, really wanted to beat him until he stopped moving. And a bit longer. His arms was practically begging for it.
It's not about that. Just, trust me. He's not going to go on some killing spree or anything. Hans said; Avoid him as much as you can. Unpleasant was a mild understatement: He'll ruin your reputation, your friendships, your credibility.. everything.

So, it's best to just either play dumb, walk away or... There was a reason why he didn't have contact with Kol any more.
     Or what?
Or if you're like me; you have to know his dirty secrets. But he has to be sure that you know, and he has to believe you can prove it. If not, don't confront him. Just walk away. And he's strong as a buffalo, so don't pick a fight with him. You won't win. Might as well point that out.

The guy works at the stadium trying to become a professional footballplayer. No wonder he was strong, Hans was sure that every time he saw him, he'd grown a bit in width.
Daniel just had a great idea, that frankly wasn't very nice: Football?! Is that so... Ofcourse it would take years, but it would definitly be worth it. Maybe he should have a little talk with his footballplaying sister, and see if she could make things just a wee bit more difficult for this Kol to raise through the ranks. Not that he was vindictive or wanted the guy dead or anything.

Even if she was feeling nasceous and wanted to run back in; the euphoric sense was still stronger. And she utterly refused to skulk home using a different route. Because then Kol had won anyway! Either this was going to bite her in the arse, or he'd leave them alone. For some reason she believed the last part most. It was just something about the gleam in his eyes when she'd mentioned mum. He was really scared of her.
Aino. It wasn't Kols voice, but Aino still froze. She didn't want to meet him either, even if he sounded as hesitant as she felt.

Daniel! Aino did her best pulling a smile. She really wasn't in a mood for another argument. Ofcourse, he had all reason to be mad; and that reason was in her arms as they spoke. She wasn't worried about getting harmed or anything, but the discomfort made her wish for a pit to appear straight under her feet.
He was as uncomfortable as her it seemed. They didn't say anything for a while, just let the awkward silence interrupted by cars that drove by and falling snow.
So how are you... and the baby doing? He kept rubbing his fingers together, not knowing where to look; at her or the baby.
Fine. It's all fine. Dad helps a lot. She hadn't told dad about him. Not even now. For some reason she'd always assumed dad would start freaking out if he knew she had a real boyfriend.

Okay. He'd started pulling his hand through his hair, over and over: So... I wanted to talk to you. Oh no! That was never a good sign. She didn't want to talk! She didn't like talking. Yet she kept her calm demeanor: Really? Had she sounded to offput? Not offput enough?
     Could we meet sometime soon?
This had to be her days of special surprises. But she didn't want to meet, but she really wanted to spend some time with him again. Though it would be really strange. So naturally she answered: Sure, I could... I could ask dad to watch Cat... The baby, she explained: for a few hours.
You don't have to do that. Daniel quickly said: It won't be long or anything.

What if there'd be yelling? What if Cat got fuzzy? What if she got a tummyache and cried the entire time? What if the cats got into her room and lay ontop of her!! It wasn't that she didn't trust him, but Aino had no idea what it was about: No, it's okay. Dad would love to look after her.
     Okay...
How about today, Aino suggested. It was better to get it overwith as soon as possible instead of waiting: around six? It didn't have anything to do with wanting to spend time with him.
He seemed a bit perplex, but nodded: Okay. At your place?
     Sure.

Phoning dad on her way home, he'd been so excited she'd worried he'd crawl through the phone to get Cat. Instead he waited outside the house when she got there: I can have her until tomorrow you know. Or for a couple of weeks. Ian was all to happy taking care of his little granddaughter. Especially if it helped his little babygirl in the process.
It's okay dad. I can come and get her at your place- how about nine? Or is that to late? She usually has a little fuzzyperiod around nine. Aino didn't want dad having to do more than he had to. He'd gotten old somehow.
Don't worry, I can come here with her, okay? And we can always make it ten instead...
Nine is fine dad. Wow, he was really invested in Cat.

So what are you planning on doing without the little one here? Ian bet she was going to sleep or maybe take a trip to the spa. His adorable little baby deserved to spoil herself a bit.
Actually, I'm meeting my ex boyfriend.
She meant dipshit! She was going to meet that boy that made her cry! Doing the best keeping his smile going, Ian hoped she didn't notice his displeasure. He didn't want to guilt her: Oh? Are you sure that's a good idea. He bet the boy was planning on taking advantage of her sweet and innocent nature! He knew just how those boys were.
Yeah, he just wanted to talk abit. Maybe about his late dad.

Aino hoped that he'd ride in on a fiery red horse wearing all black armour, and sweep her off her feet. Whilst reciting poetry, even if she wasn't a huge fan. The point was that it was romantic, and everyone romantic wanted that.
So it's dips... I mean, what's his name? Ian almost forgot that he wasn't supposed to know who it was
Dad? Were you going to call him dipshit?
What? No! No, I wasn't! Damnit! Why did he go and open his big mouth without thinking? He was really getting old.

Wait? Have you met him?! Did dad know who he was? Because if dad had met him, that meant that he hadn't told her! Which meant that dad kept secrets from her. Dad was not allowed to keep secrets! Ofcourse, she kept secrets from him, but that was completely different.
No, Aino I haven't! Ian lied: I just... I just thought of him as dipshit ever since you came crying to me, all pregnant and sad. And I saw you had a picture of a guy and assumed...
Yeah, that's him. She'd taken the picture down ofcourse, couldn't show herself beeing an obsessed weirdo.

She calmed down again. She should have known that dad wouldn't have kept that a secret: He's name's not dipshit dad, it's Daniel. Don't worry, okay. He's nice.
Damnit! It was the same guy. Ian was not thrilled, not at all. But he had no idea how to keep his little babygirl safe. He had already said yes to watching the baby at his own house. Why hadn't he insisted on staying here? Well, he could always make annoying phonecalls- like a real grandpa: Okay Aino. I can take Catherine now, okay? I'll be back here around nine.
Thanks dad! She was so excited!

Lacking of horses, armour and poetry; Daniel showed up just in time. It was for the best, since "roses are red" didn't really count as poetry. Sekhmet had taken it upon herself beeing terrified of something and hid under the chair. An embarassing silence hung over them, making Aino jittery. She'd been so high on herself standing up to Kol, she hadn't thought about what Daniel actually wanted.
Luckily he eventually started talking: So how do you enjoy beeing a mum?

Also remembering how excited he'd been about becoming a dad, Aino downplayed it a bit. Beeing a parent wasn't perfect in any way, but it was far from a horrorstory. She kind of liked it: It's okay. I never really do anything though. We just stay here, or take a little trip with the stroller. Like earlier today! Just incase he was wondering why they'd been all the way there. Maybe he'd been there to avoid her.
Instead he just chewed on his lower lip. Was it something she said? Had she done something? Had she really just rubbed it in: Are you seeing her dad?

No! She pulled a face, the thought was so gross, who in their right mind got in a relationship with Kol: I'd rather shave my legs with a cheeseslicer! I hope he has an aweful accident and dies slowly and painfully. Wow, that wasn't very nice of her to say. But she didn't like him, not at all. And it was a bit insulting that someone actually thought she'd want to be with him. Gross.

What was he smiling at; At the doctors, I told them that the dad was unknown. I kind of regret that now, because Cat and me could've bled him dry. Ofcourse, if she'd done that, he'd do everything in his power to get the court to akknowledge that he wasn't the father. Atleast then the danger of him taking Cat from her wouldn't be imminent. She'd wished she'd thought of that earlier. If a man humped someone and didn't want to deal with the consequenses, he should've tied his tubes, used a condom and a spermkiller! Not that she was angry.

Should she say something about his dad? Or was it best not to remind him of it? It was probably best not to say anything, he must know that she'd already sent flowers. Or was it rude not to say anything, she'd just been talking about herself all the time.
He was so hot, especially his legs; they were seriously long. Aino wished she had long legs. Why was she always horny? She should probably see a doctor about that, and get an anti- horny shot. Why was he wearing torn, tightfitting jeans anyway? Now she wanted to stroke his naked knee, and squeeze his thighs: I'm sorry about your dad...
Thanks. That was it. No tears, or long explanations. Well, expecting him to cry was probably taking it a bit to far.

Aino slid a bit closer, just to make sure that it would be even more awkward: Do you want to have sex? To make sure there weren't any misunderstanding: with me, I mean. Like, the two of us sleep with eachother.
Have you noticed, that you always want sex when there's something you're trying to avoid?
That's not true. It's also when I'm having a rough day. What was bad with that? She liked sex and it made her happy. Well, most of the time atleast. She just didn't like it when someone made her do it.
That's pretty much the same thing, Aino.

I mean, how am I supposed to know if something is wrong or if you're actually just frisky? Daniel was pretty sure that he should steer the conversation back on topic. But to be honest, he didn't really know how to talk to her about that Kol guy. It was probably better to avoid it. Maybe she could break or something?
She hadn't thought he'd ask about that, or even that he'd noticed: Well, I usually don't move or make a sound... Had she said to much with that? Meaning I have to wait until I'm inside you to figure it out?

Had she done something wrong again. Yeah, she'd probably done something wrong: I'm sorry...
It's okay. Really, why did he always end up feeling guilty? That was a perfectly valid concern!
It's kind of your fault for flashing your knee like that... Aino wasn't made out of stone either. And it had been a really long while.
     What?
It doesn't matter anyway. She wasn't having sex today then. Even if it was safe again after the birth. It was probably all for the best, because she felt guilty anyway. She was a terrible sim.

Daniel grabbed her, pulling her closer: What? I didn't say no. Can't have this damned sexy knee running around making it work for you, and not do anything about it.
But, you said that you didn't want to figure it out that way. Was she just going to sleep with her now because he felt guilty? Because that was really bad to.
Well, yes I did. But I have no idea what to do right now. So either you just tell me, or I ask you. How does that sound? Also known as continuing as they were. What? He wasn't dead.
Can I touch your knee? She really wanted to touch his knee: Only if I get to spank you afterwards. Wait. Was he beeing serious?! Please be serious!! No, he was joking. Bummer.

Stroking his face, Aino wasn't sure what was going to happen; sleeping together wasn't a guarantee for anything. But atleast it was more fun that talking, and he'd even shaved his face properly for a change. Maybe he'd been on a date at the esplanade? She hadn't thought about that! Feeling a bit of jealouse rage, Aino did her best to push it back down.
There hadn't been any spanking, but atleast it had been fun doing it without any blankets: Daniel... she tried getting contact with him: Daniel... but he just kept grunting for an answer. Maybe he was sleeping: Danny....
Please don't call me that. He mumbled. That was what his friends called him. He didn't want to be reminded of guys when he was naked.

Aino let him stay there whilst putting her underwear back on. Then it was back to try a little more. It wasn't that she didn't want him there, she'd love to have him spending the night. But: Daniel... Still not any larger reactions from him: Daniel... Straddling him might not have been the smartest thing she did, so she slid up on his chest. What if she was so heavy that he couldn't breathe? Dannyboy...
Well, he wasn't choking under her weight atleast, as he finally opened his eyes: That's even worse!

She kept on stroking his face gently: I'm sorry. She wasn't actually sorry
     It's okay.
It's just... my dad's going to be here soon with Cat. So... unless you want to be naked when he arrives... She didn't even know if he was going to stay or leave. Introducing him to dad was probably not a great thing at the moment.
Yeah, that might not be the best idea. Happy with the answer, Aino carefully slid off him.

Dragging her back, he rolled on top of her. Happened every time, probably some manthing she'd never get: Did you get the part about my dad showing up? Maybe he actually wanted to meet dad?
Your dad's going to love me. Daniel pulled a wicked grin. He really wanted to meet Ian again, since he clearly hadn't mentioned the two of them meeting.
Ofcourse he will, Aino answered genuinly. It's just that your still naked. And they should've been her a good half hour ago, so they'll be here any second. She had to phone him, and see what was taking them so long.
Okay, I'll put my clothes back on. But he was staying to meet "dad".

It rang and rang. Maybe he didn't hear it? He's not picking up. It wasn't really strange, was it?
Maybe he's on his way, and can't hear it because of traffic? Daniel suggested. It sounded so believable. He was probably right.

She hung up, and tried again a handful of minutes later, letting it ring heavily. He had to hear it: Maybe he forgot his phone? Daniel was beeing helpful as usual. It sounded plausible, but dad usually had the phone close by when he was watching Cat. But maybe he'd forgotten this one time.

Aino hung up another time, just to ring back: This isn't like him. He'd been on her like a moth to a flame since she'd had the baby. If he'd forgotten the phone, it wouldn't matter, because they'd been here by now. It wasn't that long a trip. Was it time to get nervous? Dad was old after all.

Phoning another time, Aino was happy when it finally answered at the other end: Dad! Hi, I was wondering.... dad? Hello? Dad? That was strange, he didn't answer. Bad reception maybe: Hello? Dad? Daaad, can you hear me? Hello? Hello? Dad are you there? Dad, are you pocketanswering me? Daaaad? Hello?

     Hello Aino.

That was not dads voice. It was deep and soft. Just like: mum? No, it couldn't be her, it had to be Maya or something... with a really bad cold.

What do you mean? It was rude of me not to greet you? What? No, that was mum. Her voice was so filled with drama at the other end, bringing Aino back to the scents from her childhood. The sweetened smell of unknown substances that always lay in the air at the large house, making her young self wonder what mum was up to in the basement.

.... you saw me? Today? At Beremond? The lights that played with her blond hair, making it look so much like golden silk; a shine she'd tried so hard to replicate but never managed- she hadn't seen anyone looking like her there. Had she been outside? Had... had she surveilled the place? No, she was beeing paranoid. It wasn't mum. Mum was in jail. Someone was having a terrible sense of humour.

I didn't see you there... She swore she felt the long nails scrape against her scalp, hard fingers grabbing her arm; like a skeletons. Mum had been so strong, and her perfume had been so heavy. Or maybe it was just in her head, and everything had been a dream. She rarely remembered anything from beeing a kid. But it couldn't be mum, could it?

But I saw you Aino. Her daughter had always been useless; an embarassment to come out of her own body. That humiliating softness was from Ians side of the family, as it couldn't possibly be from hers. Skuld was tough, and so had her dad been.

I was right next to you, I even saw you looking at me. And yet you didn't recognize your own mother. You are such a selfish girl Aino; a terrible daughter. I thought you loved me. Yet, she was so easily manipulated it was almost no fun in it. Who was she kidding, it was hilarious!

Is that why you had that little loversquarrel Aino? Don't you love him enough? Aren't you beeing  good to him? She'd been surprised that someone had wanted her daughter to begin with, but as long as she ended up with a child; Skuld didn't care.

But with the way you flirt with other men all the time, I'm not surprised he gets mad at you. Must you be so desperate for male attention? To bad that he has to work so late, leaving you all alone and helpless. Yes Aino, I know a lot about you. She didn't care that the her daughters man clearly was an abusive sim; and she didn't care about that other guy that drooled over her. Even if she'd never understand what men saw in her. Skuld had always known they were useless.

Mum had seen her with Kol. She didn't know that they weren't a couple. She thought she was alone... She thought she couldn't phone the police as long as she was on the phone with her. Maybe she thought she'd never phone law enforcment, with the way they had behaved against her?
Motioning to Daniel, she held a hand over the microphone, moving her mouth slowly barely letting the whisper beeing heard: It's mum. Phone the police. Was it mum? Could it be?

As predicted, her idiot daughter was in some form of shock, completely forgetting that she'd actually phoned Ian: How I'm able to talk to you? I had a little help... A woman I met in jail. Her name?

...Morrigan.... She had such a lovely little family. It's a shame what happened to them. It was... well, not really.

I needed to get out Aino. You see...

... I had something important to do. Some wrongs that had to be set right.

A long time ago, I lost something that was mine. And I couldn't retrieve it... and you knew what was about to happen. So if I can't have it....

.... why should you...? The sound of a babys sounds woke her up: Catherine!!

Let' see who's faster Aino. You or me... Her granddaughter was a chatty one, desperately trying to get some sounds out as Skuld had talked. Typical babies. They just never knew when to shut up.

She's at dads place!! She has my baby! She screamed in the phone, just to hear the empty silence from the other end. She'd hung up, she'd hung up and was at dads place.
I'm telling you, she's at her exhusbands place! How many more times do I have to tell you?! Ian Mallory. No, I'm not fucking joking! I've told you that already! Aino barely noticed Daniel barking on in phone with the police: Aino, they want the adresse. Fucking idiots couldn't just check it up themselves?

Skuld had planned this for years and years, and finally initiated it. She might not be able to live forever, but this way she'd never be forgotten. They'd tell tales about her for generations to come, and theories of what happened would be written over and over. Skuld had taken her well earned place in history. And she'd got revenge on Ian and his ugly bride.

It was so much more silent that expected. Even with the blue and red lights that lit up the night. Not even a neighbour present: That's my dads house. My dad... is he in there?
I'm going to ask you to step back.

Not aunt Lucrecia. That meant someone was dead. She was only there if someone was dead. Why wasn't she looking at her? She didn't even notice she was there: Ma'am, you can't go in there. Someone grabbed her around the wrist, preventing her to get closer. What was that on the floor? Was it paint? Please be paint.

There's an investigation going on. You need to step back. Officer Kvarme was use to handling relatives: But... but dad lives here. And he was watching my baby...Why hadn't she reacted faster? She'd answered dads phone! She'd answered dads phone, and she hadn't been able to get it into her thick skull! But she had! She had asked him to phone! But she hadn't really thought it was her! But he'd gotten it! But they wouldn't listen to him! They hadn't believed him, so it was really their fault. Wasn't it?

They were watching an infant? Aino nodded: Officer Utvik, she ordered: contact headquarters. We have a missing infant.

Told you it would get worse :)

In game though, the baby was gone just after birth, so no rules were broken. This was just a filler chapter. You didn't actually think you wouldn't hear from Skuld again, did you? And yes, there's way to much blood but I found this really great new bloodsplatter, and I got way to excited with making gory- stuff. Sorry about the length, but the effect was so much better this way

And if it got lost a bit there, Skuld was talking about the aborted pregnancy she had during her generation. Which was why she wanted Aino to have a baby, so she could take it for herself. Remember how much she hated beeing pregnant, and she gets to torment some more sims. So much better than having one herself. Yay Skuld!
