Once again Oriana found herself downtown, knowing that sooner or later she had to go back to where the young girl had ended up dead. It had to be a coincidence, Meave was wrong. What did she know about these things anyway. Marco was missing and she was going to find him. She refused to give up hope. For once in her life, she wasn't going to give up, or forget!
The fog and cold that had plagued the city, finally gave in for some beautiful weather. Even if it probably wouldn't last.
She also had to find the courage to question Dominic, but he was just so scary when he put on his cop- face!
It wasn't why she was out right now though. The kids were going to a sleepover at Joes brothers place. She didn't know him all to well, but she trusted Joes judgment on this. It would be good for the kids to get something else to think about. And it would be good for the adults to have some time to discuss the recent events.
For some reason it wasn't just the households adults that were joining, but also Rylan and that Esther. To make it worse, it turned out that Christine was dating Rye, so she was coming to. Which meant she had to endure her husbands ex- girlfriend. She had to spend a day with a woman that had fucked her husband... oh the joys of beeing all grown up.
Why didn't the damn lift go anywhere? Was it broken or something? It didn't sound to good really.
Oriana pressed the button again, why did this always take so damned long? She just hoped she could be alone in there. She hated sharing an elevator with strangers. It got so awkward.
As the mature woman she was, Oriana had offered to get some groceries, so they would have something to offer the guests instead of just ordering pizza. And she wasn't an idiot either. Now that even Meave thought they should leave it to the police, she had a feeling that they were really going to try to convince her to stop looking. Ofcourse what she was up tp now, was a part of her many, many clever plans.
The idea of looking for her brothers jewellery was actually quite good. The items were rare, and valuable. So if he'd been robbed, someone would definitely have tried to sell it. So under the guise of getting groceries, she also visited the junk- shop! Or the "pawn shop" as it also was known. No way this place worked legally!
Smoothly Oriana walked up to the clerk asking: Excuse me miss. I'm looking for some new jewellery. It's for my ...ehm... husband... yes husband... Do you happen to have any platinum earrings or bellybutton piercings perhaps? For men that is... yes I know that's weird.. And... I'm a bit short on simoleons, so if you have something that hasn't proper papers in order, that would be fine to.... Just between us... Oriana was so smooth.
The clerk gave her a tired look: We're a legit business lady.... We don't buy or sell stolen goods.
Oh my, Oriana said, that's not what I meant. She threw in a clever wink, like they had a secret together: I'm just saying if you have anything that might have ....lost.... papers maybe? You know? She winked again.
We don't buy stolen items. It's against the law, and we follow them. The woman managed to look even more tired.
Listen, she decided to be honest with the clerk: I'm a private investigator and I'm looking for a missing sim. I'm thinking that if I find some of his belongings...
The clerk interrupted her: You're not a private investigator....
I am to! Oriana proclaimed.
If there's one thing I've seen a lot of, it's football- mums in simoleon trouble. If you want to sell your jewellery to pay off creditcard debt, just say so. But we don't buy illegally gotten gods.
I don't have creditcarddebt!!! Oriana said. What was this? She didn't look a typical mum did she? She totally looked like a tough investigator! All hardarsed PIs wore knitted jackets in spring. It kept them from getting a cold!
That's what they all say.
Do you have platinum jewellery for men or not?
You mean bellybutton piercings for your husband? Men don't use those lady. We don't buy platinum, it sells to poorly. No go away before I call the police. Clerk- lady was quite authorative.
Oriana didn't want to talk to the police, so she walked away. This was the only pawn- shop in town she knew of, so it was a dead end. Damn, that meant she needed to go back to that alley, or talk to Dominic. Or both. Stupid clerk- woman saying she looked like a football- mum... she to looked like an investigator...
Did you find anything?
Oriana had been so deep in thought about her much she looked like an awesome PI, that she nearly jumped out of her socks. How come that guy kept finding her?
Adam looked at her with mild interest, so she decided to answer. He'd been so helpful after all: I found a girl that claimed she knew something...
Really? All of a sudden he seemed more interested. Maybe he was a journalist of sort?
She ended up dead before she could say anything.
He slowly nodded: That's to bad. Not even a little "poor girl" came from him, but she didn't really think to much about her either. Actually she worked really hard not to think about it.
My cousine...
Cousine? He interrupted her.
Yeah, Meave. She's in the army... But she thinks I should just leave it to the police. But, she sighed, we're going to have a little meeting tonight at my place. Just us adult you know. I don't know why though...
The entire family then? He asked.
Nodding, Oriana continued: Yeah. The kids are staying at Joe's brother, Rikard, for the night. You know, Joe, my brothers friend that lives with us... anyway... Rikard and his wife Sunniva are nice sims, they offered to help a bit. It was nice of them, Sunniva had really grown up to.
So it'll just be you, Meave and Joe then? Adam said.
She interrupted him thoughtlessly: No, us three and Rye, Esther and Christine. They're ...friends... Better to call them that, and atleast it was true about Rye. The two others though...
So this... John was it?
No Joe, or Joakim as his name really is.... Oriana thought it was odd he'd forgotten already. It was so typical men never paying attention.
Right Joe, this Joe has one brother?
Oh no, Oriana explained: He has two; Rikard and Jomar. But Jomar doesn't have a family as far as I know. It's just the three of them. A small family, kind of like us really.
Adam was actually a bit nice, even if he had those creepy, staring eyes: Maybe it is best to leave it to the police, he said thoughtfully as Oriana nodded. No way was she doing that, no matter what everyone said.
Smiling Oriana told him: I actually haven't told anyone that you are helping me. It was good saying it: But I'll tell my family today. And when I solve the crime, I'll credit you.
No need to, Adam answered: I'm just happy to help. Even if it doesn't seem to go anywhere.
Thanks, either way. It's really nice of you. You're a nice sim.
He smiled at her: If you change your mind about that drink...
Still married. She didn't want to take a drink with him at all, but that didn't mean she couldn't be civiliced. The only one she wanted was Bashir, even if he was damned difficult getting a hold of. They said goodbye before she went to shop for groceries. She had to keep up her alibi.
I don't want to go! Lucrecia looked at uncle Joe with her best puppy- eyes. It always worked on uncle Marco, why didn't they work on him? She didn't like strangers, and she didn't know how to act around them. What if there were germs there? What if they thought she was weird?
Besides this Rikard was a werewolf! So was Biorn, but he was a kid. Rikard was a grown man, he was tall and broad and already gross and hairy!
And then Joe had said it would be other supernaturals there to! Because they were friends of uncle Rikards and his wife. He claimed they were nice, but Lucrecia wasn't so sure. Ofcourse none of the adult had said they were trying to gather a litte network for Jarl, so he could get some mentoring if he ever felt like it.
Don't worry Lucky, we'll be there to. Odin always knew what to say: Besides they'll attack Skuld first anyway! In movies the blond girl always dies first. That and she usually didn't have a shirt on. Odin didn't mind though, he kind of liked boobs.
Looking at his sister, he hoped for a reaction at his comment but there weren't any. To bad.
Joe just wondered where the kid had seen movies like that. They weren't allowed to.
Have I met him? Effies voice kept jumping back and forth between falsetto and deep. He had kind of hoped his dads family wasn't to weird, but no such luck there.
You met him when you were very little, he assured his son again. They weren't to exited visiting, but atleast most of them seemed courious about the baby: Rikard is nice, he might look a bit strickt, but he isn't. Effie wasn't to happy, but bit it back. It was just another chance to learn something new.
Skuld looked at the lady that opened the door. She was ordinarylooking and smiled a lot. Making a way to happy voice, she talked to them like most adults did; asking who they were and what they liked to do and if they liked icecream; duh, everyone likes icecream. Not that she bothered answering, she didn't have any reason to talk to smiley- lady.
There were four other sims there to, a fairy and no- doubt a genie, the nerdiest vampire simkind had ever seen, and some dull guy. Jarl took an immediate interest in the blue guy, since he was green. Skuld wondered if Jarl looked like other sims on the inside, then found something else to do. One sleepover, she could handle that even if the fairy kept looking over at her. Why wouldn't she? Skuld was quite the sight.
After meeting the other adults, Joe talked a bit with his brother. Like most parents he didn't like having his kids with sims he didn't know, but he'd have to trust Rikard in this.
Saying hello to his only nephew, he also took the opportunity to brag a bit about the toddler; and give some heads- up about the kids: If Skuld, the little blond one, starts arguing with one of the others, there's no need to step in. Just let Odin open his smart- mouth that usually shuts her up. And Effies voice is a bit.. you know... he's a teenager soon, so try to not mention it. Even if it's insanely funny, sorry poor choice of words. Now, Lucky is a bit nervous, so try to keep her and the blonde separated unless Odin is around. Oh, and try not to mention Jarls leaves, and...
Older brothers never listened: Relax Joakim, I have a kid myself unless you've noticed. I'm sure a few more can't be that different. How hard can it be? They're just kids. Trust me, it'll be fine! Famous last words.
Joe nearly swallowed his own tongue, but it remained in place: Sure Rikard. Having one toddler is comparable to five tweens.... Poor guy, he was in for a lot of frustration. Or maybe he was lucky and they'd behave. They usually did, but still better to be safe than sorry. Ah well, it was to late Rikard to change his mind now.
He's a cop! That old hags voice could still be heard. Atleast in his mind. He's a cop. She better be damned well sure he was a cop. If he could, he'd kill her with his bare hands right there and then, crack that wrinkled old neck. No, that would go to fast to be satisfying. It was probably normal wanting to murder someone. He often thought about killing Bashir to, but he had to admit it didn't seem as real as this wish.
But for now she wasn't the biggest problem, it was his messed up cousine. Clearly they weren't besties any more. It wasn't her fault though, but her co- workers had complained. So typical, just whining and complaining about some small issue like that. And simoleons were more important to them, than he was. Even for Rowena. Though she didn't seem as keen as the rest. Ofcourse, she also got more unstable every time he saw her, barely a shell of who she once had been. She'd even changed in just the short while he'd been here.
The problem was that MorcuCorp had refused to keep up their end of the bargain if he weren't taken care of. "Taken care of" was gang- speech for killing, everyone knew that. Like that old bitch hadn't done enough, she was going to be the death of him. For real this time. What an anticlimax.
On the other hand he couldn't deny there hadn't really been many other options. He had still hoped, deep down he'd hoped for some smaller miracle, or just relied on his odd luck. But now it was to late either way- He should have just done some outrageous escapeattempt to begin with. And why the hell did that damned gnome keep stalking him? Maybe he could throw it at someone.
I am actually sorry Marco. Rowenas nasal voice was honest, but not sad enough in his opinion.
Can you atleast make sure that someone finds my corpse? He asked. The kids won't get my lifeinsurance if no one finds my carcass. Marco could have sworn it had gotten more quiet around here. Probably just in his head since he was going to die and all.
She hesitated a bit: I can't promise that. You'll be claimed dead after a certain ammount of time anyway, won't you?
Yeah, but it won't happen until they are way into their adulthood, and then they will only get a small ammount. What a surreal conversation to have. But his kids were important to him, even Oriana, Lucky, Effie, Jarl and Joe would get simoleons when he died. A man takes care of his family, even in death: You know how insurancecompanies are. They will find all manners of loopholes and excuses.
Rowena was standing in front of him in the cold, filthy room. One of her goons were there to, and so was Bashir. Ofcourse he was there. By the look in Rowenas eyes, the goon was going to kill him second. Even if Bashir likely didn't know about it. He was sharp, but not that sharp.
I'll make sure they find you when your oldest ages into a teen. That sounds okay with you? It's the best I can do, we don't want more cops around.
Sure Rowena, it sounds good. Thanks.
No problem cousin. Family got to look after eachother right? She kept looking around herself as if seeing or hearing something unknown. The terror in her voice was poorly hidden as she said: I was so ready to make this into a family business, but simoleons always comes first, you get that right.
Ofcourse, he nodded. She said her goodbyes and walked away whilst looking over her shoulder, muttering to herself. Rowena acted so crazy she made Joe seem sane.
Can I tempt you into shooting that guy first? Marco did a last attempt at goonie, no wonder Rowena made sure it wasn't a woman. Between him and Bashir that would have been easy.
He shook his head, with a thin smile. Clearly he had his orders.
Not even in the knee, the arm, the foot. Anything? It was worth a try, but still that head kept shaking and with the same smile. Bashir would die to, so atleast something good would come out of this. To bad he wouldn't witness it.
That cold fish looked just the same though, he had a difficult face to read. Could also be that Marco was loosing his touch since he was going to die in a small ammount of time. He'd even tried doing that crappy- fire thingy that had to be some sort of trick, but nothing happened there either. Where was that luck of his when he for once genuinly needed it?
Careful, Bashir icecold voice made the guys stop dead in his tracks: He's a master in sim- fu, if you get within arms reach, he'll kill you.
For fucks sake... He really, really hated that guy. Atleast they'd see eachother on the other side, he'd be sure to give him a beating then.
To make matters worse, the tough thug even started stuttering: But... but his arms are tied up....
Sighing Bashir said: It's a figure of speech you moron.... His legs aren't tied up...
As much as Marco wanted to hate the guy, he still started laughing to the thugs irritation: Give the kid a break Bashir. He's probably scared that his mum will yell at him for not keeping curfew. Wich made the two of them laugh even more. It's hard work beeing a thug.
Oriana kind of wished that she'd ordered pizza instead. She'd never been one of those sims that liked holding dinnerparties. It was one thing cooking for the family, something completely different for guests; or so she was told. But, it was a small price to pay for having checked out the pawn- shop... even if it didn't go anywhere this time either.
And even if she'd often thought about having some time to herself, she only thought about the kids when they first were gone. Why was parenting like that?
Still the worst thing was that she'd been right about the little get- together. It was for her and the search for her brother. Especially since that kid ended up dead, they had all jumped in on Meaves theory about it beeing a trap. Which was stupid either way. If it were a trap, whoever killed the kid would have waited for her to show up, and kill them both at the same time; duh!
Why had she even agreed on this to begin with? Why was it always so difficult saying no? Maybe they'd shut up about it when they started stuffing their faces with pie? Oriana really liked pie....but cake was better.
She remembered Christine quite well to ofcourse, not just from adulthood. But had she always talked that much? Really? Didn't she ever shut up?! See, this was the problem with men in general. They all kept looking for the hottest babe, and when they found her they just kept wishing she was different. Those dumbarses. Still she couldn't help but feeling a bit sorry for Rye, even Joe gave him sympathetic glares. On the other hand, he'd chosen her himself, so how much sympathy he deserved was up for discussion.
Still Christines voice kept going on and on: I see Bashir isn't here... Where is he? You know he always picked up the phone when we were a couple, and he always told me where he was.... and blah blah blah. Fine, she didn't exactely sound like that, but that wasn't important.
For some reason, grown- ups could't just eat pie so Oriana found some joy violently cutting up a salad. The sound of the knife hitting the cuttingboard gave a steady rythm to Meaves voice in the background: And she was just lying there, all covered in blood. As dead as they come! It wasn't like she hadn't repeated herself over and over, but for some reason everyone wanted to hear it several times: then Oriana wanted to go and look for someone else that might know something.
That's crazy! You need to tell the police!! Rye was getting hysterical again, that guy was way to sensitive.
If they think it's something simple, this should prove otherwise! Esthers boring voice irritated Oriana to. Still a bit late for caring wasn't it?! But nooo..... let's just all pretend that this is perfectly normal behaviour. Oriana punished the salad since it was illegal to take irritation out on sims....for some reason. She'd love to pull all of Esthers hair out with the roots, and strangle Christine with it. That would've been nice.
Christine still didn't shut up: Well what about that partner of his? Why not talk to him? I mean, it was just crazy of the two of you going down to that area... I'm sure if you just told his partner.. what was his name again... Didrick? Dustin? Something like that? Whatever, it's not really important? Doug? It was Doug wasn't it? No, no it was Dustin, I'm sure that was it... anyway you really should mention this...
Unfortnately Oriana didn't have anything even close to her mums temper. If she'd had the lot of them would have been tossed out of the house by now. That didn't mean she was without any; her idiot husband was out of reach and she was worried about him, her brother was gone and she was even more worried about him. To top it all of her husbands ex sat like some little cunt and dared talk about her like she wasn't there.
Slamming the knife into the cuttingboard, Oriana turned around and barked: DOMINIC!!!! HIS NAME'S DOMINIC!!!! Lowering her voice a bit, she still barked out the rest: I don't talk to him because he's hiding something!
The silence was owerwhelming as they all turned around looking at her. Christine managed to put up some insulted face, like Oriana had wronged her in some way!
Well, how do you even know that? Christine pursed her lips insultet together, giving Rye and angry glare in the process. Like this was somehow his fault.
I'm a private investigator!! Didn't they even know that. Oriana was the most awesome private investigator that had ever excisted, especially with her knitted jacket: I know what I'm doing!! Actually she didn't have the first clue on what she was up to, but she wasn't just useless. Hadn't she found more than the cops anyway? Thanks to Adam, but whatever.
Esther, just like the rest of them kept looking over at her: Don't you need experience as a police before getting a lisence for that? Either way you don't have the experience. How can you possibly do a better job than the police... surely you have to understand that.
And surely you, Oriana sugared her voice acidly: have to understand that if you hadn't treated my brother that way to begin with, none of this would have happened! This is your fault, turning him into some reckless, womancrazy idiot! She sealed the insult with a thin smile. Fine, Marco had always been a womancrazy reckless idiot, but that didn't matter! That hag didn't belong with them anyway. She couldn't just pretend she cared because he was gone! It didn't work that way!
Everyone gave her judgmental looks, like she was the one that did something wrong. Yeah, that was mean to say ofcourse. But she didn't care, she was mad and wanted to take it out on someone, and she was the best target: Don't you think it's a little late starting to care now?! After all those years treating him like he didn't exist?!
Atleast Esther had the courtesy to look ashamed for a second. Ignoring the others comments about how unfair Oriana was, she starting getting up from the chair: It's probably best that I leave... Esther hung her head as she skulked out the door.
Gee, leaving as soon as the world goes against you.... Oriana said sarcastically. What a weak hag.
Oriana! How the hell had she gotten up so fast: Go get her back! I agree she's got nothing to do here, but it's still one more sim helping! Go get her back! Now!
What? Now they needed more help, even if she was supposed to stop looking? They were idiots! Quickly wiping her hands on her pants, Oriana did as she was told; the main reason beeing that Meave somewhat reminded her of Iva, a clownish Iva, but that was actually scarier. The secondary thing was that she felt guilty. Maybe Esther actually had the best intentions.
Esther! Oriana called for the redhead, but she seemed long gone. She couldn't have gotten far in such a short time. Unless she'd hailed a cab ofcourse, which was a fair assumption since she wasn't here.
Ori... a mansvoice whispering made her jump high into the air. Jonny stood under the trees. In the dissapearing daylight she hadn't seen him. Maybe she needed glasses again? No one needed glasses seeing how jittery and nervous he seemed. But atleast the scary lady wasn't there. Was it odd that it creeped her out that he was so close to her house?
Jonny, what are you doing here? She still was capable of beeing somewhat civilized.
Dirty, was the first thing he said.
What? That was kind of rude, she was clean. Well, clean enough atleast.
Your brother's a dirty cop.
What? That was the dumbest thing she'd ever heard, even dumber than her beeing dirty as in unwashed. Okay, focus Oriana, focus. No way Marco was dirty. No way. But his partner, that feeling of him holding something back. Maybe he was dirty?
He tried blackmailing the criminal gangs! Didn't you see the woman with me, she was there to protect me from your brother and... he didn't finish the sentence..
Was he joking with her? That was a terrible joke at that, he had to be lying. Jonny had always been a dirtbag: Why would he blackmail them? For what? For some reason Oriana started whispering to. Not that it was any point in it, as no one were around and it was lively enough outside for sound not to carry far.
For simoleons! Jonny whispered: Because of your financial status.
Huh? What financial status?
He looked at her like she was an idiot: Guess you don't know a lot then?
What are you talking about? Really, she was at a complete loss here.
He whispered it with such obviousness: That you're broke. That's why he went dirty, because you need simoleons!
The shock of his words were so loud that Oriana pretty much shouted in his face: We're not broke! For once her mind tried working on it's own, but they weren't broke. Marco alone made a small fortune, Joe made a fortune whenever he competed and they had a gargantuan inheritance after her parents that would probably never be spent up.
Luckily Jonny didn't shout back in her face: A lot of guys lie about this stuff....
Which made her remember to lower her voice again: I'm in charge of the finances! Marco doesn't have time for that, I'm the one that knows what we have, not him. We're filthy rich Jonny, there's no way he needs simoleons from criminals... What the hell was this? What was going on?
Jonnys douchbag face looked even dumber than usual, like he really and utterly had made an arse of himself. He turned on his heels and ran away from her, nearly getting hit by a big car in the process. The man hollered insults and honked at him, but Jonny just kept running.
Oriana forgot all about Esther. Jonny said Marco was a dirty cop because of their financialproblems, which they didn't have. Where did he get these things from?
Where is she? Meave barked as soon as she came through the door. Oriana didn't bother answering, before a slightly more enlightened Joe asked: What happened?
She didn't know what to say, but he had to be lying. But why would he do that for, that was even more pointless: I just met someone.... blinking several times, she barely recognized her own voice: He said Marco was a dirty cop and that he blackmailed the criminals because of our simoleonproblems.
We don't have any, Joe cut in.
I know, but why would he say such a thing? That doesn't even make any sense.
Well, Christine had a lot to say as usual: I've seen on tv that a lot of strange sims can contact you when things happen. Probably some poor individual, or has some mental problems and that....
Oriana interrupted her unending tirade of chatter: It wasn't some stranger. I know him.
What's the matter boy? Marco teased, not sure how that thing works? Just give it to me, and I'll be happy to show you! I swear I'll try it on Bashir, look at that face and tell me you don't want to shoot him?! Some sims just never got down to business, might as well give him a more tempting target. Everyone hated Bashir, even Rowena said so.
Just kill him already... Bashir said. He never stops talking.
Atleast my voice is a dream listening to. It was, so smooth and sexy it drove all the ladies wild. Either that or it was his gnometouch: Come on, just one shot at Bashir? If he was going to kill him to, it was possible for him to get away, when the goon was busy killing duckface. Goonboy still shook his head: Can I atleast punch him? Swear I won't kill him.... maybe.... He did his best fiddling with the rope, but gooneboy must have been a boyscout with that knot he'd tied. When the hell had ten- year old boys with donutbeards started beeing useful at anything? Marco really felt past expiration date.
Another shake of the head.
Please not the face, I'm gorgeous. But the man was relentless and kept pointing it at his beautiful face. Probably because he was jealous. He just hoped his family would find peace.
What the hell are you waiting for you dumbarse? Is your entire fanclub standing outside waiting for you?! Bashirs usually friendly manners made the poor thug jump and loose his focus.
No, no, no. The boy actually stuttered again, still trying to maintain his toughness: It's just me, Sheesh I told Rowena I could handle it on my own! He sounded a bit proud at that, until he added: And I can!! Who was he trying to convince, them or himself? Idiot.
Then shoot him you moron. After a pause he continued: Are you really pointing that thing at your own head? You're a fucking idiot. Then he blew smoke behind his back, making the tough thugboy cough a bit.
Any last words, the goone had some more courtesy than his brother in law.
I honestly hope you die a painful death Bashir, I hate your face.
Yeah, I know.... he didn't even offer a smirk this time.
It seemed like the guy had finally made up his mind. Having a weapon pointed at your face is a terrible feeling.
A cop! The old lady said again: You let policeofficers into your domain? What kind of a leader are you? She'd seen him all over the news when the bomb had struck. Intreviewing the handsome and heroic policeofficer. A consequence of having many female reporters: And related to you? The MorcuCorps wouldn't give Rowena the satisfaction of answering. Doesn't look good for your organization. So how about we have a new talk about our "plan".
Rowena hated that old hag, she was going to be the first one that went. She was going to strangle that old neck with her bare hands.
They jumped at the loud sound of a gunshot, followed by another a short while later.
Problem solved, Rowena smiled at them, enjoying the sweat on their faces. They hadn't actually thought she'd see it through. Ofcourse the thought of a dead Bashir was cause for anyone to celebrate. Everyone hated that snake, everyone.
Walking up towards the old Morcuhag, Rowena leaned against the table infront of her: But you are right. We really need to talk about our mutual "plan". You phone your company, and tell them to take up the work. When you have results, I'll let you leave. Until then, you'll be our "guests". Do we have an arrangement?
They won't accept this kind of behaviour....
I don't give a shit. Rowena smiled at them. Turning to the goone, she asked her to kindly escort them to her office. They could stay there until they left this shithole- and then she'd be sure to throw that old bitch into the trunk of her car, and then let in disappear into the river.

Just ignore that the blender is there in one picture and gone in the next ones. It's in the dishwasher.... really....
And I have no idea why Rowena started making scared faces, there's nothing there. Really, nothing. Thug- boy was also supposed to be tough, but he kept beeing scared, did stupid- grin, then tough face, then scared etc... so he's a bit more of a not- so- tough- thug because of it. Now this is what happens to sims when they are doing stupid things for no reason.
Thanks for reading
Ooh, Oriana, got to admit, that jacket kinda does look a little bit mom-ish, and seeing exes is never nice, whether they're yours or someone else's. Seeing three exes in one night? Yikes.
SvarSlettOh, that's not a nice place to leave it. Not a nice place to leave it at all.
Goodness, Rowena is a bit of a nut, isn't she? Part of me wants to see where she's going with her plan, but another part of me wants her out of the picture (shoo, shoo Rowena after your monologue telling us about your plan)
Knittet jackets isn't that mom- ish. If all PIs wore them, they wouldn't get a cold that often.
SlettRowena is a lot fun and horror, but I'm not sure she herself even understands what plans she has. Or if she just has an idea of what everything should be like, when/if she finally succeeds.
Thanks for reading and commenting
Lol @ Oriana and the clerk. She's always so misunderstood. Quite cheerfully too. lol
SvarSlettGo Oriana! Shut 'em up! :D
Oh no. I'm glad that Jonny was trying to tell Oriana something, anything, about Marco (though not nearly enough) but just what will he do with the info that Marco isn't flat broke? What will Rowena do? Especially after his request that his kids get his body for life insurance at least. *frets
WHAT.JUST.HAPPENED?!?!?!?!?!?!? You can't leave it there! Bashir??? Marco?!?!? Who???? What?!?!? *ACK!
No one can blame Oriana for not trying atleast. But in this case beeing a bit manipulating might have helped.
SlettJonny is a jerk, but he's not completely without conscience. On one hand he knows Marco is lying, on the other hand he tried helping Oriana- What I can say though, is that Jonny actually doesn't know anything else that's going on. He's just an underling.
What? The chapter was getting to long already. And it's not like there's a sims that could take over after Marco to keep up the roll... oh no wait there is ;)

Who is this guy Adam? I'm feeling suspicious of him, and Oriana should not be telling him details about her family.
SvarSlettI don't know, Rikard. Five kids is a big addition.
That meeting was just a disaster. Even though she had an outburst, I do agree with Oriana. Everyone's contributions were just annoying, and they didn't know what they were talking about. I don't think Esther is the blame for all of Marco's behavior, but I agree with Oriana that she didn't have much business being there. She, Christine, and Rye don't seem to have any skills that will help them. Their plan is basically send it to the police and do nothing.
That last picture of Rowena is the creepiest one yet!
Adam has been showing up sporadically to help Oriana a bit along, and she's a pretty trusting sim.
SlettYou're right about Esther to, Marco has just been the way he is all along. But it's so much easier to blame someone instead. And Oriana has the overemotional trait. Mainly they all do their best to bother Oriana, even if she doesn't actually know what she's doing either. They are just all one big fest of sims that has no idea what to do, but all feel they should do something.
The picture of Rowena is a pose by Zhippidy. It was to good not to use :)

Go Oriana go! Interesting that Jonny shows up and tries to tell her something(?).
SvarSlettMarcos is just so funny, he reminds me of a Johnny Bravo type of character---don't ruin my pretty! Which I hope that they don't!
Jonny isn't through and through bad, just a complete jerk. But he tries to tell her something, but Orianas mind isn't the best unfortunately.
Sletthaha, Johnny Bravo. He is a bit like him isn't he :D Now I regret not giving him dark shades, jeans and a black t- shirt. Unless they've changed the appearance since I was young.
